I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Tell me about it Shaney. I don't run for anything now and I 'climb' down pavement edges as if they were 4ft. drops...also avoiding pot holes on pavements. My hairdresser said she saw me the other day and I looked drunk!! walking all over the place:) Sun has gone in but my young gardener has been and done some trimming and cut the grass. Only got my ironing to do. Maybe I will and Maybe I wont!!
zzzz.... thank heavens I am not running around much today, though we plan dinner by Tower Bridge for cousin as she is taking the train to Paris tomorrow and no doubt won't be back for another year, when I will be prodded to investigate the family trees yet more. She has done a lot of it herself, way back in the days before the internet when you actually had to go round churches poring through their ancient records.
Hope Lottie's feeling a bit better today. 600mg of paella should help.
Robi, I can't see the Shard from my garden, so I suppose the reverse is true. I was looking for the Wembley arch, because I'm not too far from that, but to my surprise I couldn't see it, perhaps because the evening light was too dim. Next time a photographer goes up there I will go up on the roof and wave a white hanky.

Hello lovely biddies. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Do feel a lot better today - have put myself back on the Arthritis pills. I know I should stay on them, but they play havoc with my tum.
Never again am I cat sitting. The darn cat is around but won't come in at all. We are spending all our time taking it in turns to-ing and fro-ing. She isn't a cat that will go elsewhere for food - totally antisocial. Personally I think she has got a monk on because they have deserted her.
Evenings are getting somewhat chilly around these 'ere parts!!

It's still quite warm here and I've got the back door open .Lovely breeze .Got washing dry and we've just had schnitzel,green salad and little spuds loaded with garlic butter for which I will suffer no doubt .

Cat is back, sleeping on the settee. She could get in at any time she liked Neti, the cat flat was set so that she could get in, but once in was locked in. She simply left home in a strop!! Mr LL has just gone back to check and there she was sitting on the sofa as if nothing has happened!! Bloomin' animal. She will now stay locked until late tomorrow morning.
We do love that darned cat though.

just been to see cousin off on Eurostar, after a very nice lunch in St Pancras station.
