Hair styler

I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

it seems to be several degrees colder inside than out... I have had a new tooth screwed into my gum, but I'm still waiting for the one under it so it won't be getting a lot of use just yet.

Thanks all for you words of encouragement. I'm trying hard but I wont overdo it. I'm just so eager to get back to almost normal. I know my brain probably wont but my body might!!
It's been a rainy and sunny day.Not much sun though. I managed to do my shopping in the rain and when I got home the sun decided to make a apearance. I've got another script for paracetamol but I have cut down on them so hopefully soon I'll manage without.
I nipped in the research shop on my way and found alovely Per Una top which looks as new. It's had a wash and is now drying and looks lovely. It's probably 'years ago' fashon but I don't care it looks ok and goes with my jeans.
I'm off now as I'm 'crackered' - had 2 lots of visitors and done my second lot of ironing.

Yes shaney we have very hard water, scales up immediately after I have decoked it!

80's fashion is alive and well here on he White Island anything goes, all flourescent colours and ripped tees, just like the Wham! I dread the perms coming back, my hair just will not do perms! Oh no am not into the flourescents or ripped tees just in case.

I have got a new and exciting plan for next summer, I have got a set of loose covers for my settee that are cream and wont fit in my washing machine so i am going to spray paint them!

Morning all...chilly but a lovely sunny one at last.
Did anyone watch Room at the Top on BBC4 last night? I really enjoyed it, Matthew Mcnulty's sooo sexy, softer than Laurence Harvey though, but Maxine Peake is no Simone Signoret....pt 2 tonight at 9pm.

Ooh bloomin' kettles. I've got a cheap plastic one and it's great, nice and light, probably the same as yours shaney. I wouldn't buy an expensive one again.

I went shopping with a friend and she insisted I try on some leggings...some friend ! :) Oh deary me, Max(ine) Wall. I didn't buy them. Bought a bargain russet woolly scarf and I've found a russet jumper I've only worn once...I'm gonna be doing the rusty nail look this autumn.

Been lovely here too but clouded up now .
Just having a rest in between bouts of vacuuming . Gawd I wish I could do it all in one hit but my back won't take it .
I bought a russet coloured long sleeved T shirt recently Robinia . I think it's a fave colour this winter .I didn't watch Room at the Top but it's on my list of things to catch up on so I'll probably watch it all in go .
I'll be gogglebox eyed soon .It's gone from nowt to watch to too much to watch .
Nothing much doing here otherwise and I hope you are all well .

How interesting jno. I guess it makes sense in a way. The eldest get a chance to go out and make their way in the world without waiting for dad to croak.

I am feeling smug again. managed to fix a window, catch, lock and hinges so it all works again. Its a lovely day here, sunny and cool and we had an excellent walk this morning.

I am a fan of russet as well..its a very flattering colour. I am drawn to grey and black this year with jewel brights to go with it.

Finished the bloody vacuuming .This is only a three bed semi but quite honestly I feel as if I've vacuumed round Buck House and back again .
