Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

No, the bazooms were nicely encased in foam cups, they are the only things that didn't stretch down the ole bod! And jno I am wearing dark blue very shiny toenail polish, common ? my *rse!

It's been really hot and sunny here again ,but it's suddenly gone cloudy and the wind has died down .....thunderstorm on the way ?
Too hot for cooking though .Cheese salad sarnies and crisps por moi while I watch Law & Order later .I've cobbled some potato salad and odds and ends together for Mr S .He can pretend it's a roast :)

well, nice to see we can now get iPlayer here, but it seems to have obliterated three quarters of my post. What I was trying to say was that the programme was full of archaeologists and DNAologists investigating how skeletons had come to rest in these recently discovered tombs, but with three minutes to go I realised he wasn't going to have time to provide an answer, and he didn't. He thought they were plague victims but didn't explain how come they'd been stacked up there regularly over 200 years, since there was only one big outbreak of plague. So that was a bit of a letdown.

Was called from my slumbers by a call from a frantic hija, she was a the foor of our very short lane but there was a huge cobweb crossing it with two of thode biting spiders sitting happily, I was flummoxed as I couldn't pass them either so then I got thecar and sailed passed , collected hija and came home again. Went doen this am with fly swat and bug killer spray only to find it was not there, so I destroyed the web, and will send Mr N there this evening to evict the spiders as they will come back.

So then I couldn't sleep so I read for a bit. At 6am the cat wanted out, and I heard this thumping noise and the kids in one of the apartments at the back were having a party, luckily it was at the back of my neighbours and we couldn't hear a thing indoors.
Yes shaney wasn't it good, and very well acted. A truly tempestuous love affair. I agree that they were always in love. But having googled he was apparently very happy and contented living with Sally until he died 9 months later. he and Liz spoke on the phone several times before he died.

Morning all...showery and breezy here.
Been trying to get my domestic goddess head on but I haven't got very far...it's my own fault, I woke up early , decided it was too early and drifted back to sleep. I felt lousy when I woke up and now I'm sleep walking. On the plus side I had a nice dream about Bradley Walsh. :) :)
hmmm, 'historian hottie' Dr Michael Scott, age about 31/32, tut...rather nice jno but I'm not finding myself wanting to know his shoe size :)

I slogged along to Wilkinsons to return a faulty item and that's about it .
I like Bradley in Law & Order.
He looks very sweet in his mac and specs and his parting is very neat :)
He's got the character off really well because these are our versions of the American series .His counterpart is Lennie Briscoe played by the late great Jerry Orbach .Same MO .Former alcholic,ex wives ,estranged daughters .

Can it get any hotter, I am completely frazzled. Ironed, cooked, mended, tidied and cleaned, swam in pool, lolloped on lilo; heard a voice saying 'allo; fell off lilo and hid under the rid of pool, but luckily noone appeared. So then I put up a little trellis barrier we have for the top of the patio stairs, worse than useless for animals but deters folk, and lolloped again. Now on the bed with fan going full tilt (don't put the air con on until later and v expensive unless I feel bad and Mr N is out!) waiting for my soaps.
