I think it's awful and more common that many would suppose I think, and people sniggering about it as though it's not a real thing or as important as women being sexually abused is pretty awful too.

I sometimes wonder if women are ever really interested in sex. Sometimes I think they just agree in order to keep a guy's interest, for the hugs, caresses, etc..

This thread is a perfect example of why male victims either a) fail to come forwards or b) are not believed or are c) not treated seriously. Social attitudes must change. Any form of abuse - physical, emotional or sexual is wrong.

Some of the nastiest people I have worked with have been women in low grade jobs, packing catalogue orders comes to mind. The tricks they played on the few male staff were disgusting and their speech was no better, far worse than the older men who might say things like Give us a kiss love, but that was all.
As has already been alluded to in this thread, abuse towards men is seen as a cause of amusement, there is such hypocrisy on this subject.

One thing that made me ask was a guy I worked with years ago.
He was a very slightly built man probably weighed less than 8 stone.
One day he told me that his wife, who was a lot bigger than him, used to demand sex a lot more frequently than he could manage. If he did not 'come up with the goods' (pun only slightly intended) she would physically beat him up, one day she broke his nose for failing to satisfy her desire.

Heres my take on it.
While I was not sexually abused as such, I did find the unwelcome attention disconcerting and it affected my work. Also at the same time I started dating another work collegue and the fact that a manager had designs on me made it really awkward. Not sexual abuse as such but really screwed with my head at the time.

mikey, did you see my post to you about the search for the missing airman?
It was on my local news today, the police have finished the search of the landfill site and now say they are sure his body is not there.
