Any Dubonnet drinkers?
I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

The ballet was lovely, so glad we get a bit of culture here now, though not often enough.
I didn't whistle at Shalin because he smiled at someone else in the front row (it wasn't for dignitaries, just on sale in another town) The wine was nice I would have had more but had to drive!
Poor jno, I would hate to have all that dentistry hanging over me!

Morning all..I opened the door and the cold and damp hit me :(. We needed some rain but only in the night thanks.
jno I once had a five week cough and then suddenly it just stopped. So, worry ye not, any day now it'll be gone and you'll be able to concentrate on other ailments and look forward to your dentist appointments. :)

No heat hitting us here .It's turned cool and showery after the last few lovely days.Hope you are all Ok.
I expect you are fed up Jno ,these coughs drag on and on .I think they should be called super coughs .I don't know what to suggest .Mine went on for ages but coughed itself out in the end .
Hope your tums Ok now Jude ,nothing worse when you're travelling .

its a good day here, cool and fresh. It rained overnight and fog this morning.
Did I tell you about my tumble dryer? look away if squeamish.
Anyway my new last december dryer stopped working on monday, just stopped and when i tried to make it go it smelt a bit. Yesterday i phoned the firm (Whirlpool) to get a repair man out, very nice man, all sorted, just need to wait to hear from techy man to book appointment. Later that day i go out to the garage to stare at the machine and swear quietly like you do and I decide for no reason to make sure that the condenser bit, which you take out and wash, actually was clean even though i had washed it on saturday. I pulled it out and grovelled on my knees with a torch to look into the hole it fits in and there.....right at the back.....a very dead mouse!!!!! Anyway mouse removed and it all works fine again...i now need to phone the whirlpool man again....I hope he's got a strong stomach!!

Good morning all.Wet and cold here.My heating had to go back on this morning for a while.
Jno I have a cough now and again which I put down to hay fever. I know that sounds daft but I get the sneezes at the same time. So that's why I put it down to HF. I hope you feel baetter soon and your cough goes PDQ. My tum prob has subsided now thanks I'm back on my usual diet. Thank goodness. (I'm useless at illness and tablet taking.)
Neti you sound as though you have lots of fun as well. I'm happy you enjoy the music and wine and fiestas you have over there. My life has only perked up since I retired as I didn't have the time to get out and about so much in those days. I was 67 when I retired so it's all come a bit late but I am enjoying myself a lot.

yes, I'm expecting life to begin at 67 too (if I have any teeth left).
Anyway, today's tooth has been tightened. Maybe I should get them all screwed on like this. Well, I probably will one of these days. I've got some different antibios to see if that'll help the other infected tooth and I'll go back in a week.
I wish I had something cheery or summery or something to talk about. Even a dead mouse in my dental cavities would be a change. But it's all health, health, health theese days. Roll on summer.

lol woofy, loving your air con system. I'm just a bit up and down today, I must have done too much too soon but the lovely weather and the lure of a birthday a'noon tea was too good to miss. I chose a choccy strawberry gateau which was your fault for starting me off.
