Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

Jno, one of mine failed because I hadn't enough bone. He put a graft in but no go because I had a longstanding infection there which we didn't know about. It took three lots of antibi's to clear it. Happily it wasn't a tooth I use to bite people so not a big issue. Travel safely Neti.

I've been walking today and had a greatday. Brilliant weather for walking and I've now finished the circular tour of Derby .( Derby Nomad Way).Today's was 6 and a half miles from Duffield to Stanley. I'm sending you a photo of me and my walking friend on mail. It's of us at the end of of the walk over fields and up hillsand down dales. We're waiting for the bus to take us back to Derby.
I don't know when I'm going to get any house work done it's been football and tennis since I've been in ha ha ha!!!!

you guys look fit as fiddles, Jude. I wish I felt that healthy. At the moment I feel as I'd been punched in the face, which is considerably swollen. Never mind, it will go down gradually. Ive got antibiotics and I have to use a salt water mouthwash for a few days. Plus I am going to the oeteopath to get my neck put back in line - I always book her the day after a session at the dentist because I know my neck and shoulders are going to get twisted, especially when he's working on top teeth.

Morning all...very warm, sunny/cloudy. Just loitering about expecting a small parcel from Holland & barrett, I've ordered some slippery elm food to see if it'll soothe my irritable insides.

Yes, time flies, that's very sweet woofy but in the past few weeks he seems to have changed from a baby into a little boy....before we know it he'll be an obnoxious teenager :)

Lovely pic Jude, I agree with jno, you both look well. No rush for the seeds, I can't do much until the big guys have been to do these hedges, I'm starting to feel like the incredible shrinking woman.

why do I go on holiday? The house is a complete tip and filthy, stinks of cat hate it, it is also extremely hot here, HAVE WASHED 2 BIG THROWS, 10 CUSHION COVERS, ONE COMPLETE BATHROOM SET ooops sorry, 2 beds a carpet x2. There's hardly any food in the house, no fabric softener "because I use too much," I want to go back to UK.

It's a lovely day here ,glorious sunshine .Was going to watch tennis but too nice to be indoors and have mooched in the garden so will catch up on the computer this evening while Mr S watches that other game .Last night was nearly glum faces !
My bro just phoned and we 're booked on a cruise up the broads tomorrow on the paddle cruiser.... .whoopee.

I walked back into the lounge and there was Mr N lounging and the damn smelly cat also lounging on my clean throws, I threw a hissy fit and forbade Mr N from going to a local bar to watch footy, and amazingly he stayed put! Then I wished he'd gone!! Have done so much today am totally shattered. Just eaten cheesy beans on toast with a poached egg on top, relaly enjoyed it. Then i unpacked the bag of kiddies' sweeties, refreshers, fizzlers etc now munching away in bed waiting for Eastenders on laptop as BBC etc still do not work in the evenings here! :-(

hija is staying out of the way, I haven't seen her yet, she apparently has a new boyfriend.

Lucky you shaney, I would love to do something peaceful like that , and fed up with being here already, I have fallen out of love with this island.
