Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

Morning all...
still humid but better than it was. It looked like a peaceful day weatherwise but accu say storms again this pm and they were the most accu yesterday. France are having it really bad aren't they, it's probably raining grenouilles.

Shaney that's how it was here yesterday afternoon, it was so dark some of the street lights came on. I was scared to look at the garden... it was a bit bowed down in places but it's amazing how the flowers don't get their heads knocked off.

Speaking of street lights the one opposite me is out and I'm having to put my own lamps on to see my way round the house, tut. I'll report it at once.

looks like it's either raining or stormng or maybe sunning this evening. We are orff to Monty Python in Docklands - it is being televised live, I believe, so I shall give you a wave if I see a camera. I'm in seat 941 which is probably about 500 rows straight up under the roof. It is extremely steep at the O2 so I don't want to be collapsing up there.
