Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

on FB and when I touch it it enlarges but there is no way that I can see to send it either desktop or email.

Can't help you Neti ..sorry .I'm still trying to find my way around my bongbinger .I have managed to download some apps and books ,do emailing etc and have taken one photo ...lol. Picky is in Cambs atm.
The weather never really got going here today .I hope it warms up for Wednesday as I'm going boating again .This time to Toad Hole Cottage at How Hill.

apparently there are floods and stuff down here, a friend was flying to Sardinia but it was postponed till tomorrow. We've not had a drop here, though, bone dry. I got all my family history books in the mail so parcelled a dozen of them off to interested relations; I hope they appreciate my hard work.

jno jnr hears about his job application tomorrow - apprently there were only two people really in the running, but there are two jobs going, so it's looking hopeful (though I am not uncrossing my fingers just yet). It's between a rather tedious admin job and a meet-the-people type of job he'd love, but the former is more senior and pays more, so he will take it if offered, the poor thing

that's mega silly jno. DH and I used to go to a cafe in cheddar that is no longer there. In its window there was a poster saying "Its National Hot Dog Week" DH had first seen it there when he was 15 and the last time we visited and it was still there he was 40! Something of a long week!
Sorry if I am incoherent. had a lovely day today pottering and shopping but shughy has had an anxious evening and I can't work out why which worries me. He's not ill, just worried and I hate it.

Morning all...sunny and fresh. I saw the flash floods dahn sarf on the tele. My grandad had a brother in Ruislip, I could have family there....they can send me some rain, we haven't had a drop.

well, you have to demonstrate ambition, shaney, I never did and ended my "career" pretty much where I started - by that time I was getting bored with it but nobody would promote me, so I was pleased to leave. I was never mad about the job anyway but needed the money to support OH in a nice job that didn't pay much and a child with a big appetite. jno jnr likewise has a wedding coming up and they hope kids after that.

All I've done today is sail into Boots
I've had an awful rash under my bosoms for some while .
I sometimes get this in the hot weather and it usually clears up pdq with Lanacane but this it isn't clearing up and has gone all nasty and blistery.They gave me some antifungal cream .I felt really embarrassed .
I always wash thoroughly and am fussy about personal hygiene so can't understand why it hasn't cleared up.
There's always something.. ..tut .
