Does anyone have one of THESE or something similar? I need something light to tidy up plants & the smaller shrubs - I get a man in for the big stuff! :o) I wondered if it will only cut very soft new growth or if it would also be handy to cut down perennials that might be a bit woody?

Ha ha ha haha ha, stairlift to heaven, you lucky girl Robinia ha ha ha, well you did give him the cue... I'm letting my face go south Vinny, where the rest of me is - I'm tidy that way, keeping it all in one place. / Yes I do have Windows Media Player and it opens its little window and everything, it just doesn't play. But I've put the Arrowrock URL as a shortcut on my desktop so if ever I do get around to revisiting my old internet caf I'll remember to ask them to have a look - there are other things I want to listen to as well, but can't. I do listen to radio caroline now and then though.

That was not a competent nurse you met this morning Neti not being able to draw any blood, I'm sending you nurse dracula instead. (I swore I'd never fall for the lolcats... and what did I do...)
...erm... don't know who's their dj tonight though... my grandmother methinks...

I know you don't watch Coronation St but that reminded me of one of the best lines...a taxi driver was carrying on with a married customer & his mate said "So what do you think her old man's gonna do when he finds out she's been ordering mini cabs to take her to heaven...?" hahahaha

dungeon's that way Vincent >>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>.can i stop off for a beer>>>no>>>okay then>>> (:O)

hurraaaayyy for woofy....it's very sad isn't it when we're excited by wellies? must buy some myself
don't forget.....

"Never Wear Your Wellies In The House"
by (THE) Tom Baker

"If you want to be as silent as a mouse,
Or jump as high as any little house,
You must nibble lots of cheese,
Say "Hello" to passing fleas
And never wear your wellies in the house.

Stick your neck out just as far as a giraffe,
Be eccentric and you'll make the others laugh
But except when you're alone
When of course you'll feel at home
You should never wear your knickers in the bath.

If you don't want to lie awake in fear and dread,
Or have nightmares all in horrid shades of red,
Nor have crumbs just everywhere,
Twixt your toes and in your hair,
You must never take a currant bun to bed.

If you want to be as silent as a mouse,
Or jump as high as any little house,
You must nibble lots of cheese,
Say "Hello" to passing fleas
And never wear your wellies in the house."

Er... that's great, Woofy... so happy for you... <the woman is obviously off her rocker, better humour her> You could have gone for the canine rain check instead you know. No I do know what you mean, I'm - "shapely", was it? - too and believe it or not I love red wellies too. It may be a Paddington thing - is that what it is for you, Woofy?

Alright, fess up, which one of you biddies is it have hijacked my putah? Getting very strange messages about viruses that won't let themselves be removed, and yesterday I got one of those daemon delivery failure messages saying that unfortunately my email to Walpole Wine could not be delivered. Er... I haven't effin' written to... Walpole Wine?! I'm on to your tricks, biddies, and there will be hell to pay if I receive more failure messages like "my" email to Gordon's Gin couldn't be delivered, or if "my" email to Becks' A-Tonne-At-A-Time Department bounces back, or the one to Suzie's Spandex Suppliers, or the one to Guilty Slippers Have Got No Rhythm CD Store, or... I could go on! My message is I'm on to you all!

Ha ha... seriously though... I did receive that delivery failure message without having sent such an email in the first place, and I do struggle with some kind of virus, and my broadband supplier is sending threatening letters to me when it's I who should be sending them to them - as I subscribe to their antivirus- and firewall services...! Bottom line, if indeed you do receive anything weird from me... it could be from me, he he! ...but you might wanna give me the benefit of the doubt and inform me of it, please - thanks.

yay, have handed in my notice, Sept 1 here I come!
Question Author

Dawgs! New piccies on my friend's kitten blog - get a load of this ! And this ! <I am not bringing one home with me, I am not bringing one home with me, I am not->

A Place In The Sun, love that one Robinia, one of the best (and not just among Stevie's.) It just gets better and better.

Don't you sometimes curse yourself for not having thought of some bright idea or other before someone else did...? That's how I felt when I came across below site. That woman is a genius. And a millionaire many times over I am sure. click on rumpology No jno I don't wanna read yours... I know you're excited about your retirement and everything but I still don't want to... a no is a no... no... no... NOOOOOOOOOO....! Too late... Yes yes very nice, thanks, well let's see what I can make of it shall we. morning.....all?
aaaggghhh, that's too scary!....no, not the rumps (& no one's gonna 'ology mine) .....Jackie Stallone! One crazy woman & I've seen her do the rear readings on the tele. I should have consulted her first thing today & then I wouldn't have sat here in my tiara waiting for my sister who's clearly forgotten we should be going out. It wouldn't have mattered if I could have got in touch but her phone's turned off....grrrr. <grumble ...mumble.... even Taureans run out of patience>.....

oooooh, love the kitten & I'm not reeeaaallly a cat person but I might be tempted to sneak off with that one.
Kit will you still be able to wave to us from your friend's? No, silly me, you'll be far too busy
I'll cancel the meatball delivery for a while

right, I need a consolation custard....how many will I get in exchange for a buckled tiara do you think? (it didn't bounce off the wall too well)
Sorry Robinia there's only one custard left and it's got your sister's name on it - from me! Don't think I'll be able to talk with yous when I'm away, I'll try but don't count on it. I'm leaving on Tuesday, don't know when I'll be back. I'll miss y'all.

Oi, that's not Woolacombe beach, Vinny...! (Rate My Drawings) That's Skagen beach! As you probably know, you thievish thing, the Skagen painters were known for the extaraordinary light in their paintings. As in this one by Anna Ancher (who btw is one of the women walking on that beach.) I like this portrait very much, it's by Swedish Hanna Pauli who wasn't one of the Skagen painters but she does come to mind along with the rest of them. The portrait is of a Finnish painter colleague. It was very unconventional at the time. (Btw liked the sunflowers as well!)
