Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

They're closing. See ya.
that looks very interesting, Kit, I'll make a note to look out for them if they reach the UK. Looks like a useful bath mat as well, and probably useful for mopping the moose when he comes in from playing on the ice floes.

jno those nappy things have been advertised in Women's Mags for ages, you put them on the freezer shelves under the food and it stops them freezing up.
When I next spot one I'll put the name on here for you.
are they the same thing, neti? They may be. I have some that I think are <whispers> microfibre which are considerably, but not super, absorbent; but it's possible these Scandinavian ones have moved to a new level like Ikea...
Fine yesterday. Fine tomorrow. But TODAY when I am supposed to be going BALLOONING in faraway Essex, it rains. I am expecting an imminent cancellation from Virgin. Bah. I shall go and look for some pigeons to kick.
After-noon....erm..see miss derbyshire hasnt paided orf her lecky bill yet.....which means her fridge is off.....which means free food before it goes off...>>creeps into kitchen<<<.yummy..
oooh cheese cake.....a bottle of creme de menthe....blimey...the date says ...late december back in 63...! ooh arrr vintage...>>>slurps>.....pssst...shaney...chs on toast....bloomin toaster int working...last time I break into this house...hehe..!
not again jno....! can you find a balloon simulator anywhere..(:O)
paided orf is an old devonian word left ere by the celts>>>quickly scarpers>>(:O)
I suppose a paided is similar to a piecost eh Vinny ?
Well I have a man coming round shortly to look at my leak ....his name is probably Bill ...and a large bill at that !
a'noon.....here I is....

silly buffers, didn't need to turn it off after all did they? (was supposed to be maintenance work in this area) so I don't know whose fridge Vinny's raided but it wasn't mine....can't have been or he'd surely have commented on the contents of the cool box ......

mmm Kit, I have a large sheet of magic, super- absorbent, felty stuff for mopping up....a 'surprise present' from my son from the local Sunday market......thanks.....

ooh I've been keeping up with the scrubbits...I've had a big Bill too - well 3 of them.....with their ropes & power choppers.....

pssst, jno, are we playing Chinese whispers?

< my crow fly by>
Ha ha ...don't forget the nails and poison Robinia .....small Bill ...to be told my machine has nothing wrong with it ....my plumbing is duff ! I thought there was something wrong when we had that blocked drain recently .However I am most impressed with British Gas with whom we have insurance as they have promised to send someone round today ! I do hope they turn up because I have more washing than a Chinese laundry.
Why am I beset with waterworks problems.....I would rather murder a tree stump anyday.
feeling deflated

so I have been out and poured poison over the pyracantha stump to cheer myself up, plus booked myself a nice holiday in Portugal for June. Cheering me up is an expensive business, but somebody has to do it.

<Wails of dying tree stump fill the air>
oooh, somebody mention plum duff?
oh dear shaney there's only one thing for it ....

if you can't beat 'em....

tut...that's the last time I play whispers with jno....that's going from the sublime to the ridiculous....
I don't care anymore ....I have just had a phone call from a nice man from Dynarod who will be with me shortly ....I do hope he can sort me out ......yours sincerely
Not waving but drowning

ooooh, hold on shaney...keep paddling....

I had a drop dead georgeous man come to unblock my drains once....& they weren't even blocked. Don't know who sent for him....he just chatted a while & then went...tut.
Do you know how hard it is to block a drain? heaven knows I tried..... :o)
georgeous...hahaha - that's neti's fault....
Well..he keeps ringing me up ...saying he is on the way ..so there is hope ...and to think ...he has never seen me ..he may change his mind when he finally arrives !

How is HRN by the way .....opening a new drain inspection centre perhaps or shaking hands with the hoi polloi.....or even hobnobbing with Baz.
<my crown falls off?> no wonder, too many diamonds
My drains are free !! Yippee !
I have never seen so much sludge come out of a washing machine outlet but he assured me it was quite normal !! I was mortified ...in spite of religious application of vinegar and washing soda.Mind you the drainage system round here leaves a lot to be desired as seen by the recent floodings ..so I don't feel too guilty. Plus you hardly ever see the men cleaning the drains these days.
Oh well .....wishy washy slappydashey .Microfibres.....bah !

Curtseys to HRN and totters backwards to leave the room
shaney clears the tubes...
