Let's see what the care home boss offers and we'll take it from there.  You have to convince them you can work better and not be under pressure

He asked how many days you'd had off?

Who did? Your HB manager? Why would he ask that- have you already been off sick in your first week there?

09.27 / a clothes shop / Now that seems more your style - think of all the clothes you could try on and ask us what we think!  Joking apart, Abbey, why don't you see if there are any vacancies?  With Christmas looming, I guess stores will be looking for extra staff.

Thankfully I got an interview in a care home tomorrow

You've not answered my questions and those from others regarding help and support for your dyspraxia.

If you get the job, you must work hard and be reliable , be flexible about shifts wanted by your employer, and stick at it for several months. Otherwise you will continue on your current roundabout that will eventually make you unemployable

Question Author

Sorry pasta haven't got round to it

Please don't ask us what you should wear for your interview tomorrow. You should know by now

Question Author

No I won't ill look when I get in

Are you at work just now, Abbey?

Question Author

No

You don't seem to have any problem getting interviews for jobs Abbey whereas lots of people never even get to that stage. Are you ever asked to give references to the prospective employer because if they actually ring to take up the reference imagine what your previous boss might say.

Question Author

HB is not on my CV just ask ny current job and another previous employer

Question Author

What do I say if they ask why I'm leaving the care home?

Just say that they aren't offering you enough hours

They might be surprised (to hear that the care home aren't offering you enough hours) as there is a chronic shortage of housekeeping, cleaning staff - but they probably won't ask more than the basic question. Good luck at the interview.
