Let's see what the care home boss offers and we'll take it from there.  You have to convince them you can work better and not be under pressure

I was advised by a colleuge to say up my hours or I'm leaving and be careful what I say in the care home.

I'm not sure why you're telling us that again abbey. Was it in response to a particular point someone made- or are you just 'thinking out loud'?

Your parents know you best. Have you had a full discussion with them about this, and about your health/mental health issues?

Others may shoot me down for raising this but I think the key is to address the underlying issues which affect your performance in so many jobs. Were you diagnosed at school with any sort of 'special needs', as if you were you need professional support, especially in view of the ongoing dyspraxia and depression issues?

Question Author

No just dyspraxia

Abbey, you're not an invaluable member of staff at the care home so giving them an untimatum won't work.  There's a very good chance they'll just say 'go then'.  I would.

*ultimatum

Question Author

Ok I'll just say to my supervisor I can't live on 8 hours so if I can't have more I'll have to get another full time job so I'm covered financially

Question Author

I don't know weather to ring sick or resign

Abbey, dyspraxia isn't a "just" condition. As an adult with it, how you work, learn and perform in jobs will be affected.

**Did you ever get help for it?**

If you haven't...do it! Otherwise you may never find the right kind of work that you can do successfully and enjoy.

If you've been advised to be careful what you say in the care home, why are you going to give them an ultimatum?

Question Author

Because I was advised that aswell

Question Author

Do I tell them I'm dyspaxic

Abbey, the care home have cut your hours because they felt the job was too much for you. I doubt you'll get extra hours back.

What will you do if you threaten to leave the care home and they say "ok"?

Yes!...and go to your GP and ask for help.

Otherwise go online and look for support groups in your area...please.

Abbey - can I ask  ...do you ever really  listen to the advice given by so many Abers or are you like Mr. Sinatra and just do it my way?  A simple yes or no will suffice, as per usual.

Question Author

The manager of HB keeps answering what do I do?

^You may need to clarify what that post means.

If you are ringinging in sick you can't just leave a message with a colleague- your manager will want to speak to you

Question Author

He asked how many days I've had off

Abbey, no one here can assist you with your lies to the boss. Just pull yourself together, say you are feeling better now and go to work

Maybe you could cheer yourself up with a new top?
