Let's see what the care home boss offers and we'll take it from there.  You have to convince them you can work better and not be under pressure

So what are you going to do when you've had a week off 'sick'?

Question Author

Hopefully find another job and quit of get a Dr's note

Have the scales fallen from your eyes, Floko. Are you seeing what I could see (very clearly) a long time ago?

Go for a job as a "sinecure"

Zacs I did want to try because of her condition, but the real truth is coming out ....

Question Author

What real truth?

Abbey, get a doctor's note for what?  More time off?  Firstly, you're not ill, and secondly you've only been in both jobs for five minutes.  How long do you think they're going to keep you if you're doing nothing?  I'll tell you.  For no time at all.  Employers employ people because they need them to work.  They are not charities.  They will get rid of you - and to be perfectly honest I wouldn't blame them one iota.  Get a job - and like it or hate it - just do it.  If you don't you will become unemployable.

Question Author

No from the care home I'm not

So keep the care home job and go back to McDonalds on hours that fit around it.

Question Author

I might do that or do a clothes shop

Reducing your hours from 30 to 9 as they felt it wasn't working out suggests otherwise- maybe they are hoping you'll threaten to leave

Whatever you do, Abbey, you have to stick to it - even if you don't like it.

Question Author

Well that what I'm going to say to my supervisor to give more hours or I'll have to get another full time as can't managet 2 and all thr travelling.

Question Author

I love the care home that why I might get one close to it so I don't have to travel

What should you do?  You should knuckle down, go to work and do the job you are paid to do.

You don't pretend to be sick just because you are a bit tired and would rather not bother

Abbey look back and you will see a common factor on why you keep failing at these jobs.

Just done a search on abbey to find some history and found this abbeyleigh who, I assume, is now you abeylee as the question topics are almost identical.

You mentioned 18 months ago about your record of being released from jobs after a few days and you said it could be linked to your dyspraxia.

There are also several questions from last year saying you were feeling depressed about work, boyfriends etc.

Have you discussed these with your GP and been referred to either a dyspraxia specialist and or counsellor/depression support group? I know it may seem tangential but I think it may be the underlying issue. Make it a priority.

Question Author

No didn't know there was any

Question Author
