James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

well there will be no sinning today. My waitrose order arrived last night covered in someone else's orange juice. Poor man was is such a state and apologised 97 times. I got him to put it all in the hall where the floor is washable and wiped off each item before putting it away. Normally I put the bags up on the kitchen work top but I had to bend over the bags, take out each individual item, wipe it, then put it in the kitchen. This has made my back go ping yet again. have loaded up on the pain killers and texted my sis to get a taxi from the coach station...just got to wait now for it to un ping itself.
Oh woofy. Poor you. I looked for something to sin with but was too cold amd village is practically empty so i bought 2 pairs of comfy shoes for Dubai. Then i cleaned out the bathroom cupboard from unused hair and bath products
Filled a huge rubbish sack
So then did tops of wardrobes and took quilted blankets, anorak and towelling bathrobes to the charity shops
Place still has too much but am pleased ove done in yome so someone cam get the use
The charity shop also looks after the poor and homeless.
.
oh dear, death by orange juice, woofy. There is nothing so innocuous that it cannoot lay us low.

I am having a nice cold G&T, probably laying waste to my platelets but hopefull not going to interact with themetro, which I stopped two days ago. The dentist has cleaned out the implent, he hopes, so I tried to go shopping but the shops were all superheated inside and I was soons weltering. So I came home giftless and got out the ice cubes.

Comfy shoes for Dubai, they're sort of harem slippers, are they?
Just had a huge downpour so lost Corrie, but am now waiting for it on Plus one, hopefully it won't rain again.
Not at all xmassy here but what did I expect? it never is. Jolly cold though.
Morning all ..lol.
I've been binge watching The Crown sent to me by the Queen of Ibiza.
Neti you have mail:)
It's been a drizz mizz day but not all that cold .
Crikey woofy what a nuisance. Orange juice makes everything sticky too.I expect they're so busy though .
Picky was here all day messing around .He went and picked up his new car and a seagull cripped on it as he drove it back . He wasn't best pleased .
Funny how as sprogs get older they buy more sedate cars. He's gone from a low slung Skoda Octavia turbo thing that kicked a.rse to a Dacia Duster. It's very nice though and easy for poor old crumply mothers to get in and out of. He had his moneys worth and huge mileage out of the old one though.
Hope you're all ok .Glad to hear you have progress with your teeth Jno .
Night all.
Morning. Very wet and cold here.
Glad you got it Shaney, but no email received, but yahoo is beggaring about.
I have bouhta dobbler for mobile as impossible to type with these nails.
Yes when hija passed her driving test my Ford fiesta gt wasnt good enough but now shes happy to use my old Renault clio 15 yrs old.
Thanks shaney. Email back at yer!
Mr N has gone to lidl and bought a fresh leg of lamb for €10. Unless we eat it tonight ill have to freeze it!
Afternoon sinners...if swearing's a sin then I'm guilty every time I hear an awful xmas song, someone saying 'the big day' or '?? sleeps to xmas'...please, just shut the **** up.
:) :)

Very dark and damp in Derbyshire but mild and that suits me just fine. Went shopping with sis yesterday, it wasn't too busy at all but I did get a tad overheated at times. She only dropped a jar of beetroot in sainsburys, tut, it must have been a day for spillages. Good thing I wasn't standing next to her, I was wearing light suede boots.
She's got a Dacia Duster too shaney. You're right, lovely cars, easy to get in and out and lots of room for the shopping.
As for Tarquin becoming more sedate...if only. I thought his mid life madness was over when he sold his yellow sports car...I called it the 'flying banana' ...but he's bought a bloomin great motorbike. Fabulous to look at but very scary. Obviously they do have a sensible vehicle each for ferrying the boys and grandmas.

Stay well all of you. I think I'm finished now, not an inch of space in the freezer. I bought some half price wellies so 'Let it snow...Let it.....'

Shut the hell up Robi.
Just heard my nephew was rushed to hospital on Monday with low sodium (no idea). He's the one who's had nose cancer twice. But he's due to be released tomorrow.
Morning all
Another damp drizzly day.
I'm sorry to hear that Neti,I hope he'll be alright .
We've just come back from Morrisons ,where we had a breakfast and did the last bits of shopping.
Not all that busy in there really .Mr S whizzed up the road like Speedy Gonzales with the shopping trolley and I trundled along in my own time .
Hope you're all ok. Only three more sleeps:) ........runs
Very quiet here. Half the island has flown to colder climes. Have washed two sets of bedding and bathroom stuff as its a lovely sunny day. Well pleased. Even did ironing and then tried to put on a new ironing board cover, what a disaster, wont lie flat so guess ill have to wash it first.
Now sitting down witha cuppa and tst and syrup. Yum
And que sorpresa! My mascara arrived from ebay on first date mentioned. Things are looking up.
Stranger and stranger. Nephew has been diagnosed with underactive thyroid. I never had all that fuss with mine!!
Low sodium is a factor in hypothyroidism Neti.If his levels had dropped suddenly then he may have become unconscious. He could have had this for a long time and not realised .I think it's some type of coma that people can go into if it's left undiagnosed. I used to go dizzy and fainted a couple of times before they diagnosed mine.
Oh i think xmas has startrd. I havent put my houseclothes on. Am still in going out clothes. Am now drinking cider (sweer and only 4pc vol. So wont be swinging from the chandeliers any time soon. Mr N is roasting the lidl leg of lamb!!
Villa Neti is cleanish and tidy, let the games commence!!
