James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

CRASH
Ooooh, it doesn't half hurt your ears when you drop baking trays.
Don't worry, I'm not cooking, just moving them.
Tut...where's my post?
?!
yes, there's a slight wormhole in the space time continuum round here and posts get sucked in
24 hours awake followed by 12 hours of sleep - an interesting diurnal pattern, there must be some animals that do it that way, but not usually me.

Tis the time dilation aspect of the wormhole Jno. Parcels were collected today by my nice Hermes lady...love the service, collected from my door and cheaper than RM, also insured.
Morning. Sunny but rather windy. Mr N is taking me to the hospital for nose apppointed which will save me a couple of hours.
Shaney mearly finished The Crown. Duke comes across as horrible this time. Margaret is a right ***.
A'noon each...ooh that wind's raw today, I can't be doing with these minus temperatures. Roll on next week, we're supposed to be basking in double plus figures.

The way things are going on here we won't be able to read today's posts until next week. I've forgotten what I was going to say anyway.
Brrr dark, wet and cold here. Doctor said nose is ok I just have to learn to breathe through it! That wasnt the original problem! But the middle of my nose is thin and it caves in when I breathe deeply!! Everyone he saw was in and out so i think he's a "put you off" doctor.
We then went t a couple of shops saw a tin of Fray Bentos corned beef for 8€!!! Desperate as I am for some that is taking the p! Went to lidl. Not a lot there
Gym clothes and last week skiing clothes, here!!!! Got a few odds and *** then the dark and rain descended ao we came home. I loved passing through little villages with their cosy lights
Cat was wet and moaning and its so nice to be home
No Sky tv as rain is too heavy.

cold and damp here. My christmas parcels are on their way to their destinations and I have started clearing up. Cards get posted this weekend.
blood test in the morning, which took less than a minute, what a wonderful phleobotomist. My record is four hours, which left me a nervous wreck, and I still am when I see a needle, so the woman today was excellent.

Dentist in the afternoon, he's worried abuot my implant, which seems to be infected. Three days of metronidazile then go back and see him and if somethingg's gone wrong he'll give me a new implant. Doesn't look like this will be finished any time this year, though I had the tooth out in May.

Oh what a blooming nuisance Jno
Hello all
Nice bright day but still hovering around freezing out there.
Windows decided to download some type of update yesterday and I got in a terrible muddle and lost settings etc. and had a blank screen but my computer technician has sorted it out now.
What a nightmare Jno .I hope you'll be able to eat your Christmas lunch.I'm still hanging on to my wobbler.
I've had a sheet of exercises from the physio.Yeah ...right. Laying on the floor or kneeling on the floor and sticking one leg up and all sorts of other contortions.Totally impossible for me to do.I'm going to phone them after Christmas and request a face to face appointment .Failing that I may shoot myself or get drunk and disorderly:)
Hope you're all ok.
Shaney drunk and disorderly sounds good !!
Afternoon all...I'm never drunk but I'm always disorderly. Dark, cold and wet here...nipped out before it started and the local roads are bumper to bumper traffic. Apparently town is chockablock and there's a football match on so good luck to all those braving it.

I've got a sheet of exercises from years ago when I saw a physio about my back...I can only do about half of them now. I hope you get to see someone soon after Christmas shaney.

Oh dear jno, you're not having a good time of it lately. If my painful jaw doesn't ease I'll be on mince pie and sprout smoothies too.
Chin up everybody....in the words of the song..
"Things can only get better...."

or
Pee po belly bum drawers
quite nippy out there again. I have posted all my pressies for UK and foreing parts (they're all the same, a calendar) and can now think about loved ones closer to home. I might even stroll down to the maelstrom of the West End tomorrow.
We had a few a few drinkies at lunch time, but it was so cold I went on to coffee and moscatell! I see lidl ars getting in small turkeys so we'll be ok. We are eating pickies now and maybe not too much cooking next week. Just had pate with fig jelly. Spicy fried sobrasada with mopping up bread and strong spanish cheese, honey and salted almonds washed down with a bottle of very weak sweet sidra (cider).
Ohh am so annoyed! No casualty
Good morning all. I have elected to stay at home today as we have lots of picky things to eat, have finished off the smoked salmon. Mr has just i formed me that he does not like melted camembert so ill be eating all that.
