I have just had a bath - the second this year - it's getting to be a habit. I remained in it as long I could - about 8 minutes. Then it was boring!!

Well I like the number 36 and it's the first one I think of when someone asks my age.
I don't like being in the bath...can't be bothered to wait for it to fill...it goes cold...it's uncomfortable ...and I feel slightly trapped, I like to be able to make a sharp exit from wherever I am. I would quite like a go in a spa bath though.
I love a bath but pop in and out very quickly as I also get bored, and usually Mr N is waiting to get in as water is precious here.

Well done woofy, a good day's work.

oight oight am off to watch tv in bed (Midsomer)
yes, we share bathwater too (serially, not at the same time, bath is too small). I think we are still mentally living in wartime austerity, even though we are really postwar.
that's strange I thought I was strange because I find baths boring, now I find its a biddyism.
At one stage I thought that the dreaded knee would rule out baths but it seems to be behaving itself.
and I am now a man of mystery.....
I have a hot bath every morning or I can't get going .We've got a huge old fashioned roll top bathtub .I don't hang about though .Get in ,wash ,get out If I have a bath at night though I have a longer soak .
We haven't got a shower as such .The bath is across the corner with the taps in the middle with a shower attachment which is only used for hair washing really .I do slosh meself down with it sometimes though in the summer, but I have to sort of crouch down or the water goes everywhere. It's easier just to have a bath really .
Oight Oight folks .I'm off to bed as I have to be up early for the leg inspection nurse at the hospital .I shall have a bath before I go :)
I can't remember the last time that MrLL had a bath, probably about four years ago when he had a bad back. In fact he never uses the bathroom upstairs at all - it's all mine. The shower/laundry room is downstairs complete with the other loo. Even if he ever has to use the loo in the night (very, very rare)he goes downstairs and if I am in the downstairs loo, he would rather wait than go upstairs. How very strange. But I like the fact that noone can mess my bathroom up (even though the bath is rarely used and gets spiders and ladybirds and the odd leaf in the bath),

Mr LL is eating out on his way back from London and I have had delicious fish cakes which also contain cheese sauce, on a huge bed of lovely spinach!!
Ooooh, Shaney popped in whilst I was rambling.

Oight, oight, Shaney. Good luck tomorrow!!
I can't get going unless I have a shower in the morning. I do love showers but ours isn't a power shower. I would love a power shower even though they hurt!! I get really upset if we have ever been away and there is no shower. I find it really unsavoury sitting in a bath in a hotel when who knows who has been sitting in it before me!! silly init!!
No Lottie its not silly. When DH and I used to use hotels, nice ones, I always wiped the bath, sink and loo around with disinfectant wipes before using them
still a mysterious figure....oight oight
oight oight everybiddy. See you tomorrow x
woofgang is fine, it's Lottie who's become an International Woman of Mystery.
Morning. NO one is a grey mystery to me. Yes woofy, I always clean bath, loo etc when staying anywhere, it drives Mr N mad although have to say in America once the apartment bathroom was definitely not up to my liking so bought a Vim equivalant and left it on loo seat in pride of place when we left!!! I also kick the loo handles to flush them and after washing hands in public loos (which I rarely use) I have to use a wet wipe to open the door, then wipe my hands again, it's ridiculous!!!

Sunny day today, off to collect money for Mr N, but not with menaces!

Morning all
Well what a waste of time that was.I trail to the hospital only to be told my name is not on the system for an appointment today. Yet I have a card in my hand which says 10.00.am Jan 13 2012 .Excuse was they typed the wrong date in .How can anyone be so idiotic as to type one date into a computer yet write a different one on a bldy card .
I now have to wait for another letter and yet another appointment .Good job the hospital is just a short bus ride away .If I'd had to travel miles I would have been really piddled off .
And breathe ....................
good morning all. We are in a sleep for England phase at the moment, got up at 10 (dogs got breakfast at 5 then everyone back to bed) I am just considering getting dressed and the dogs have gone back to sleep.

The dizzy pills I'd forgotten to ask about are now waiting for me at the pharmacy...deep joy....I take it all back about doctors receptionists...for now :o)
well its nice to know they get something right sometimes. The receptionists at my GP's are lovely, but then it is a very close knit practice. I have just had a good giggle at jno's response to AB's female atheist in Chief in a gravatar thread.
