Andy, I would be interested to read your thoughts to my post at 15.53.
One of the world's great problems has been the complacency and prevaricating over the threat and spread of ISIS. A separate issue altogether granted but the principle remains the same. If world leaders are unable to form a coherent domestic and unified response to essential issues that affects us all then we are faced with an insidious threat. Not scaremongering and it is hardly surprising that those who are supposed to represent our best hopes and interests are bypassed.
Where's Svejk with his corroboration about I allegedly wrote about most European terrorist attacks being carried out by non-Muslims?

The tenterhooks are literally ripping holes in my shoulders.
Same here ... Waiting on your evidence that TR is an anti Semite
Right!! I've had enough of this, the OP is "Shouldn't This Peaceful Silent March Be Allowed To Take Place Without Violent Opposition?"

Answer; Yes.

Anyone disagree?

A couple of months ago, when this thread was still new, and before the march happened, I responded with:

[i]You don't know whether the march will be peaceful, and you don't know whether the opposition will be violent.

Why then, did you use those two adjectives in your question?

A more honest question would be:

Shouldn't This Silent March Be Allowed To Take Place Without Opposition?

With the spin that you've put on the question, the answer from me is 'yes'.

But when the question is phrased honestly, the answer is 'no'.[i]

I think that still stands.
Given the use of the word 'shouldn't' in the title, then the answer 'yes' means
'no, it should not have been'.
Don't underestimate the foresight of Mr AOG....

Doubting Thomas' on here doubting Tommy....

I didn’t say that Tommy Robinson was antisemitic. I wrote the following:

Didn't you know about the links between EDL and the BNP, who have a rich history in anti-Semitism?

Here's a lead off:

But if you want some more evidence, go to www.google.com and search for 'bnp EDL antisemitic'

I have no idea whether Tommy Robinson is antisemitic or not. All I know is that he once tweeted a link to an antisemitic website, which may have been a pure accident.

So I really don’t have anything to explain here - doncha think?

So…with that sorted, we’re still waiting for a response from Svejk.
Khandro - had enough?

Seems like we are back on the construction of the question itself! You don't get off that easy!!
Before christmas I decided to curtail my AB activity severely, and I am glad to say that has paid off.

Seeing this thread (nearly at 500), I have to ask you, haven't you got anything better to do?

It's testament Gromit to how strongly both sides feel about this important issue.
It has finally taken place innit
with more journos than silent peaceful marchers ?

now please can we get back to important unasked question like
will we all be killed in our beds by moustachioed muslims ?
> will we all be killed in our beds by moustachioed muslims ?

More likely than the green men from Mars I'd say.
Thank you AG I can go to bed assured

I was going to give you a medal but, er, you have already disappeared...

I agree, there is a serious issue of syntax here, - something about a double (or maybe a single) negative. So the answer has to be obvously; "yes" or "no".

Why make a statement specifically about BNP/EDL yet post a link about Tommy Robinson?
You know why you did though I doubt you will admit it.
