I never suggested for 1 moment that the vote be overturned - and I am allowed to continue to feel let down and disappointed but the results!
However ponder this - in order to trade with the EU which we must in order to survive we must like other states take on some of the EU rules - so we will have to follow orders and not receive any of the benefits.
What about the money given to Northern Ireland - which has made a huge difference to a downtrodden area - who will support all the projects over there.
Cornwall is already asking Westminster to plug the gap that leaving the EU will leave even though they voted a majority out!

In order to trade with the UK (which they must in order to survive ?) they must, like other states take on some of the UK rules - so they will have to follow orders or not receive any of the benefits.
I've not seen the figures. Did NI receive more in EU benefits than the UK sent the EU then ?
Of course Cornwall will want their share of the money that used to go to the EU to continue any grants they presently receive. Why shouldn't they ? And what has how they voted got to do with anything ? They are still part of our UK.

Well, whatever, TTT -- for my part I don't think we gain anything by cutting ourselves off from someone who makes products we want so much of, so taking a hard punitive line on our side is likely to backfire spectacularly.
The UK won't be able to hold the EU to ransom in the way you seem to imply. Both sides hurt each other by taking that stance.
