Beyond any words I would be allowed to put into print here. Lost all my support and sympathy.
I'm sorry Lady J, did you mean you have no sympathy for those who died in the terrorist attack, because if so, that's a harsh response to a joke you're offended by?
Playground level gold Hughsie, see me after.
“ Neither has Private Eye been short of a barbed cover either - recently, this one: https://www.private-eye.co.uk/pictures/covers/full/1541_big.jpg

Well Private Eye is a different diet of satire even so: it is meant to raise a smile. Like I said before “raising a smile” is not what Charlie Hebdo is about. Never has been.
IF reality it would be $27mln for archewell - lol
I think it is very clever and do not understand the feigned shock and outrage
It is a cartoon from an infamous satirical magazine and fits right in with the remit so nothing out of the ordinary considering its m.o.
I can't get bothered about a joke at all. I thought it was only slightly amusing, but humour is always subjective.

God save us from the Liberal latitudes which our penal reform members would give to scum like Floyd. They’d have us all in fear of our lives with their libertarian ‘innocent until proven guilty, despite their irredeemable past record’ rubbish.
Floyd's dead. The only problem now is Chauvin.
Zacs-Master has just torn up the Magna Carta.
Seems to a lot over over-reaction to a political cartoon. They do tend to be savage. That a magazine has got the wrong end of the stick, is hardly unique. Perhaps they'll practice a little journalism in the future and acquaint themselves with the flaws in the claims and counter-claims.
// That a magazine has got the wrong end of the stick,//

In what way have they got the wrong end of what stick?

Its a Satirical Cartoon -I think its you that has got the wrong end of the stick.
All the jokes and abuse pur magazines and gutter press have hurled at the French over the years, all the mentions of frogs and garlic munching surrender monkeys, and there's not a word said, one magazine cover on a satical magazine and all the pomposity and defensiveness comes out.

Snowflakes.
