I'm probably being a really dumb biddy but I don't do much on-line shopping!
Next are offering free delivery but where do you put the code? As you 'add to bag' it makes out your order but I don't see a space for special codes and the total adds on the delivery charge.
Hope this makes sense, I'm losing the plot today. Thanks.

Hi Lottie I'm so sorry you feel rough again. Just read your post. I can't feel relaxed all the time either I feel like I want to be doing stuff. There are only so many crosswords and sudokus to do. I try and get out for a walk but then I'm lucky I don't have your aches and arthritic pains but if I don't use up my energy I get anxious at times so I understand that part. Just remember we're all here to listen and it doesn't matter how much you go on because you listen to us and are always kind.
Neti have you been on the sangria? That's just horrible
Evening snyggies
Well that was a bit of luck Jude .At least you found it and hopefully they can be mended .

Reading about all this scrubbing has worn me out :) I feel like Slack Alice now .All I've managed to do is catch up with my correspondence and toodle round Morrisons, prepare meals and eat them .Huge basket of washing out of the way though .I just have to put it all away :)
Sorry you feeling under the weather Lofty .I used to be the same ,worrygutting over things that really don't matter .As my Mum used to say ,the muck will still be there long after you're gone .
I've become very adept at turning a blind eye to housework .It'll get done when I have a spurt of energy .Though when that will be is anyones guess as my hip is giving me mighty pain at the moment .
Hope all went well for Mr Woofy today and that your child is feeling better Neti .
Toodlepip for now .Sleep well .xx
I love that dear little penguin .He looks like a little child jumping around just for the sheer hell of it while his parents look in on in dismay ..hahaaa.

Good morning...very dark & wildly windy here..

Oh that was odd Jude, what a shame you didn't find the earring before it was squashed but maybe it happened as soon as you lost it.

lol woofy, that's the last thing my mum would have been heard to say, she was an almost obsessive cleaner. It's just a case of finding a balance that's right for you...if there's a mess but you feel better clean & tidy then you have to do something about it...if you can't or don't want to don't burn up calories fretting about it.

Now get those floors scrubbed, tut....
Robi the only reason i attack my floors is that they are in the main wood and tile and I cannot abide the feel of grittiness under my feet/shoes

Same thing happened to me with silver earrings years ago, I was looking after a toddler in the carpark of the local hospital running up and down and being grabbed (cos kids weren't allowed in the wards), and lost an earring, searched everywhere but nothing. Then went back a few days later and just causually looked and there it was, slightly dented (as you can see in the piccy) but I thought it was amazing and I know that the mother of the kid just didn't believe me!
My house feels a rightr mess, I cleaned it rthoroughly on thursday between airport visits, and now I just want to tidy it all again, but hijna is fine and well and lolling everywhere, so no chance.

I also have a Polti steam cleaner but can't be bothered, have had it 10 yrs now and used to steam the mattresses every week carpets and floors (was very tempted to steam the cat, but common sense prevailed) I used to burn my hands as I would wipe the surfaces as I was steaming them.
I did enjoy Midsomer, it's nice and comforting somehow, I really took against the Sappho shop owner right from the start, didn't like her eyes!

I know it's time to do the kitchen floor when I walk over it and me slippers stay firmly where they are.

I keep getting stuck on a site that sells beads, I'm fascinated, there are some really pretty agates. I only found it in search of some invisible thread to redo some old necklaces.
Hey look at that I wrote l e s b 0 and they have changed it to sappho!
lol, how tasteful...if you like beads, go look on ebay, I bought some lovely carved real gem beads this year and used them to make little dream catchers.

wheres Kit? I had yummy low sugar cloudberry jam for breakfast today from Ikea...not to sweet, quite fruity, and a bit caramelly...full of seeds though.
Hello Snygg-Kycklings (does Shaney have any idea what she's saying, I wonder, she's like a child with a new word, trying it onto everything to see where it fits:)

Well if there's cloudberry jam on the table, you can't keep me away for long, Woofy, it's delish unless it's too sweetened. Didn't know IKEA sold it.

Sorry biddies but I just can't keep the pace. The builders seem to be here every hour of the day (different teams I believe) and I don't want to be anywhere near when they're at it. When I do get home and after I've showered, washed and cleaned - I only wish I had the energy left for cooking - there just aren't enough hours for me to sleep, even. At least they haven't put the plastic back up again and don't seem to be planning to, so that's a kind of victory on my behalf. And because of my hellraising they won't be using the boiler with the toxic fumes that they were going to use. Also they will be postponing the painting of the facade till the summer and they'll use a [scisssor lift? cherry picker?], which means scaffolds down sooner than planned, so that's a victory too. (cont.)
(cont.) But before that, they have still got 8 more weeks to go - best case scenario. Yes you heard me, I said best case scenario. It depends a lot on the temperatures, so I imagine those 8 weeks could easily turn to 12 or more. During this time they'll be preparing/mixing? concrete just above my window. I can't seal the place - even though I close the window and the ventilation, there's still such a draft that the thick curtains move - so I'll just stay away from home as much as I can. I'm not strong enough physically to be doing what I'm doing so it's very much wearing me down and adding new physical problems to the old ones. I won't be around very much:'( I keep trying to but there isn't enough computer time at the library and when I try to catch up in the evenings I can barely keep my eyes open. I do read all your posts but I can't find the time and the "awakeness" to post, myself. Neti and Woofy, hija and mr W were in my thoughts but I never got round to saying it.

If any of you are planning to open a restaurant or a boutique but you don't have a good name for it, look to Sweden. I took this piccy down-town yesterday for your amusement, possums http://i52.tinypic.com/2zg7slu.jpg
(Oh, PS, Frameland were the previous owners, so what I'm referring to are the two signs, not the sunblind.)
Hi all.

Swedie. We understand. Just post when you can. I feel for you. Actually I am much the same at the moment, reading the posts, but no real brain capacity or ability to post much myself. And at the moment my memory is dreadful. So when I read through I only seem to retain the last couple of postings.

I am now going to do research on the latest flu jab which I had last Friday. I started feeling unwell about two days afterwards and it seems suspicious to me. I feel fluey most of the time and really, really tired. I also have a really upset tum and the trots.

See you soon. x
Oh dear, what with Dolly, and lottie and swedie, the husbands and the hija and then there's poor Robi with the banging next door. There is no peace for the biddies. Good news from Dolly, it is abating and never reach her door, but she couldn't leave but things should be looking up now, that's a relief!
Lottie, I meant to say that is the reason I do not have flu jabs, I always fear there will be after effects, and have escpaed it for several years.
The only time I had the flu jab, years ago I had an achey reaction...not flu, nowhere nearly as bad but deffo to my mind linked. My big Sis has one every year with nary a twitch and DH had one this year and was totally fine, even with his frail health....I guess it's just us fragile flowers, touching wood as I speak. Take care Kit, lean on the thought of your victories, we will be here when you can.
