Ok, please sign up here, stating knitting experience and do you have any knitting on the go at the moment. if you can't knit at all then do the more experienced have ways of theaching them on here??

Been knitting for pushing sixty years .My Nan taught me with a little box of wool and needles that used to be a popular gift for little girls many years ago .I started off making holey scarves for dolls ..lol and progressed from there .
Can do Aran and Intarsia but those days are gone with my fumble fingers .I still have the Kaffe Fasset jacket ( autumn leaf stylie )which I knitted way back .

Jumper/Vest: Fish & Chip babies
• 8 Ply Yarn (double knitting)
• 5mm needles (tight knitters) or 4.5mm needles (loose knitters)
• Cast on 44 stitches
• Work 18 Rows in K2, P2 rib
• Work 30 Rows stocking stitch (1 row plain, 1 row purl)
• Cast on 12 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows and at the same time change to K2, P2 (for sleeve)
• Rib 22 more rows.
• Next row: Rib 21, cast off 26 stitches, rib 21
• Next row: Rib 21, cast on 26 stitches, rib 21
• Work 22 rows in K2, P2 rib
• Cast off 12 stiches at beginning of next 2 rows
• Work 30 rows stocking stitch
• Work 18 rows, K2, P2 rib
• Cast off
They do ask that you don’t use white or baby pastels as they’re unlikely to be washed.

There are lots of videos on youtube by the look of it but I always think it's best if someone actually shows you for real. Haven't you got a family member or friend to help you smowball?
I learnt how about 50 years ago too and since then I've done a lot for myself and other people but nothing recently.
I'm looking for a pattern for a Chanel style cardi at the moment if anyone's spotted one on a site somewhere? Not a twee one though, something a bit trendy, small size.
