Nothing on the go at the moment, but will dig out patterns for likkle babies over the weekend and get started.
If anyone wants any knitting needles......................................
.
Is this so you can all sit around ' Madame Guillotine ' ?.
I'd love to join in but have no idea how to knit.
27 years experience, nothing actually started but plenty of projects planned as I've got 2 great nephews in toddler and 3 month baby form to make for.
I'm busy knitting for "fish and chip" babies at the moment. Small jumpers, hats and blankets.
An experienced knitter? ............ I once started a matinee coat for a friends baby but left it unfinished in the bottom of my wardrobe in a knitting bag, until I unpicked it and sent the wool to charity last year!
The "baby" is now 40 this year!
Rocky, most charity shops sell needles. (Unless you go to Tilly's) Get some wool from a poundshop and start with a scarf.
We'll help.

Tony, we'll keep the wool away from the puddles of blood.
What are "fish and chip babies" Maggie?
I never knew until the other day Ann. Apparently, the wee souls are wrapped in newspaper. I think Peru was mentioned.
Me hopefully! I used to knit quite a bit but arthritis hands have been making it hard (along with a cat hanging on the end on my knitting needles!). I've got a load of wool and needles and a crochet hook and a gorgeous nephew and another niece/nephew on the way (and other friends with and having babies) and so want to knit some nice stuff but it frustrates me I can't do it like I used to or for long. Maybe need to just do little things bit by bit.
Ann, in some countries the families are so poor that the babies are wrapped in newspaper to keep them warm - hence "fish and chip" babies.
I knit too, mostly hats etc for premature babies which I donate to the local hospital
I'd love ot be able to knit.
The thought of B00 with knitting needles scares me.

I'm left-handed and was taught to knit by my mother and a teacher. Both of whom were lefties. I knit right-handed. Dunno why.
Boo, knitting is so easy, Taught my 13 year old grandson in an hour. OK, he holds the pins rather awkwardly but that's OK, he's knitting.
I'm in... willy warmers a speciality
lol Rowan, Tony and Moony will be pleased:-)
im a lefty too, does that make a difference?

I did huff and puff at your initial comment Alba, but to be fair, it's probably not wise giving me sharp pointy objects!
Mine warm enough at the mo rowan ( scald injuries ).
