The facts surrounding both these boxers have been available for weeks. They are men - various Boxing federations have prevented them from boxing against women, only the IOC decided to ignore this and allow them to thump women on prime time TV.It is shameful.

The first three involve horses so are not solely dependent on the sex of the riders.

I must agree with you with the final two in your list but had my mind more on events where physicality makes an appreciable difference like in......erm......boxing, or running, say.

That's the point, the IOC don't.

As I understand things, sparkly, if an issue stops the fetus forming the male genitalia as it should, then nature reverts to forming the default female genitalia. It is therefore a rare condition where a biological male has the body appearance of a female.

The question is, what advantages and disadvantages arise from that; and how, when sport is divided into two groups on the grounds of fairness, such individuals fit in. I think it overwhelmingly looks like they don't fit into either group.

how come a muslim woman is being touched by a man (carrying them) who is not related or married to them?

// The prophet (PBUH) said, it is better to get a nail driven into your head than to touch a female that is legal for him to marry without the marriage. It is an example of the greatness of the sin. //

Ah... we are all sinners.

There's going to be a real transgender competitor in the paralympics.
