woo Neti, glamour shots....seriously keeping my fingers well crossed for you that you don't have to evacuate.
I have a Mum robin with a baby who appear whenever I am in the garden to cadge suet and insect snacks. Mum will come and perch on my hand and take bits but babe just hovers near and waits for me to sprinkle a bit of food on the fence posts. I can't put much out because the rats hover in the bushes. its way too cold and windy to garden here.

One of the fire planes coming over my house, looks small but it scares the hell out of me, they are coming in over my house and then dipping down to the shore and sucking up water and probably tourists and then dumping it all over the Morna valley and Portinatx.

No we won't have to evacuate, we are in the town, it just to stop small sparks from starting little fires locally, cos there is no one left to fight. Having said that, the head of the Fire Brigade lives next door to me but he has retired now, so think he is in his bar and not fighting. Last time, he got a huge water lorry up here and sprayed our 2 houses to keep the fire away but that was in the 70's when it wasn't so built up and was lots of dry brush!

Oh damn two of the planes just came right over my pool and they are so big but I didn't have the camera, will try next time.

HI there. I'm back from my eye test and got my free prescription sunglasses. Not brilliant stylewise but they'll do for me to drive in. The whole deal was cheaper than my specs last year.

Neti that's a beautiful photo. I've had a holiday in Portinax for a week. We used to go twice a year to Spain and then a Greek Island. Menorca, MInorca, Ibiza and Nerja. Also we stayed in Almeria once then we tried Benidorm. Sorry but never again.
The hotel oposite our small one had a bad case of Food poisoning while we were there.

I would love a little robin to come sit on my hand Woofy but I think I don't live in a very countryfied area to attract them.

I don't know if these will show up very well they were taken from my sons bedroom window He lives in the country and there's a lovely sycamore tree over the fence at the bottom of his garden. Anyway here goes.

I keep taking photos of the fireplanes overhead and they do not appear in the shots! I've done about 5 now and even with the phone and they are just not in photo!

2 bus loads of military people are camping just up the road in the sports centre, bussing in and beating the fires and then coming back, we the locals go when called (well not me, I'd only get in the way) but Mr N has been in the past. 5 planes now and 2 helicopter things with big bags for collecting water.

Having said that we had an hour's peace from the planes and I was hoping it was extinguished but the spanish news said it was still out of control, an now the planes are back again. The noise really frightens me.

Thank you woofy, I couldn't hear much cos of the planes, I know they are necessary but I am getting a headache, it's non-stop and over my roof all the time. We realise this is because the apartments at the back have a 30metre tv aeriel as does the guardia civil and we are in between them so it safer for the planes. (Maybe cos hija was sunbathing topless with the big boobies is why they are over here). It's like the war, we are chatting to the 'orrible neighbours at the back, all in this together type of thing!!!!

I video'd it last night, saw snatches, it looked good. DH is better today, still very tired but not nearly so exhausted as yesterday..just letting the nightly flushes subside then i am off to bed...sleep well all. specially Neti.

morning all. darling dogs both rolled in fox poo this morning. I was so mad with them especially as shughy got it round and in one ear which is a bit red anyway because of his allergy. of course that meant a real thorough clean which of course he hated so i am now the big baddy getting woe is me looks from both of them well for once I don't care i have just had enough.
