Electricity In Dubai?
Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Lovely day .Real feel of 20C in the sun.Bit of a cool breeze coming up the lokes off the sea though but warm enough to go out in a t-shirt with a light jacket over.
We went to vote and then I tottered to the High St.I'm on a roll now..lol.

Think I am on the mend. Ate a sausage sandwich! Throat is so sore but Mr N went to chemists and got me an antibiotic throat spray which seems to work.
We've had a discussion with hija about leaving this job about the hours she works. On a split shift today she worked 7 hrs and then back for 5 more. They just seem to expect it. I would honestly be happier without her driving at all hours, and then I would get my car back.

Good morning and thank you :) That's set me up for the day shaney, we haven't seen enough of Clive recently. I see he's been married for 20 yrs now... 'bout time he had a change :)
There won't be much swinging from lightshades today, I had about 3 hrs sleep...not my body ailing me any more than usual, next door's little boy screaming, the ambulance came early hrs. Poor little chap, he gets chest infections. It'll probably be a garden centre with sis, hopefully it'll be too nice for indoor activities although it's very cloudy. She'll be up for that they've just completely revamped theirs, I'm going to tell her it's a lazy person's garden....haha, I'm just jealous, it's what I need.

Lovely day here again and looks set to get warmer still for the weekend.
I'll look forward to seeing that Neti ,glad you feel a bit better.Take it easy with zooming around.I've got plenty of nordic noir to watch atm.
I've been for bandaging today.Different dressing this time. They seem to think I'm allergic to something in the plasters which is why the skin is so red and angry round the wound.I hope it's gonna heal up this side of Christmas :)

Have to say the Americans is so good that I've rewatched it today. Maybe it's just cos I'm bored too. Have lost 3 kilos but feel they may on go as soon as I eat a decent meal. Hija just made me little bits of toast with brie and raspberry jam and I managed 3, and 3 potato balls, then I felt sick.
We have our best friends here so am missing out on lots of restaurants but that's okay. Booked for Paella on Sunday just hope I can make it. I can just eat the rice but will no doubt have some wine,

I couldn't leave it uncovered Neti ,it would be oozing gunge everywhere and I'd be terrified of knocking it .There are all little white papules in it and it's red raw.It's quite a big area.This foam dressing is a new thing and they've had good results ,so fingers crossed.

Tortoises are sleeping out tonight and have had a lovely day wandering around outside. We went and do a huge shopping trip this morning to marks and I came home with a banging sinus headache so spent the afternoon asleep. Sis takes good care of me :)

Hi all. Went to see the under sixteens girls this morning and when I left to go to the Ipro they were losing 5-0 and then The Rams lost so,not a brilliant day but it was a lovely walk and Derby are in playoff at home on Saturday against Hull so looking forward to that.
