Electricity In Dubai?
Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

A six day wait isn't bad Neti.The way things are going here we'll soon be waiting six months. Hope the jab and the meds do the trick. I've just come back from the surgery and been referred to dermatology .It is an ulcer. That's now a four month wait after the previous wait.What a faff.
He said that if they keep bandaging it ,it may well heal up before the appt comes through .I (insert rude word..lol) well hope so .

I'm worn out, not really, just been Rockin and Rollin with brother's friend. She is staying the night as she has a meeting in Nottingham tomorrow morning. She has some recordings of her and my bro playing and singing together. Really good they. Both play guitar as well. Good fun tonight.

shaney, no, I haven't lost any money, the Visa people rang as soon as they saw something suspicious. I do use it to buy things abroad occasionally (because it doesn't charge commission on foreign purchases, that's why I got it), but mostly small stuff online at home. So when a £400 bill from Staples in NY came through it rang alarm bells. I suppose my number is now on the dark web somewhere and evildoers are using it in Ibiza.

Good job they're on the ball.Picky had that happen a while ago now .Bought something on line and all of a sudden he was a few hundred quid light .The bank phoned him about it and stopped the card and he got his money back.It's so annoying .You can't be too careful these days.

Morning or otherwise. I've been busy clearing out laundry room, had the car so took 5bin bags full to the tip. Washed our bed at last and everything I can get my hands on, just decided I will wash bath towels so they are in the machine now.
Great to feel better but am resting up now.

After last hectic evening, up at 6.30, I went to Tai chi, lunched and then came home and fell asleep on the sofa. Getting hungry again now but it won't be a big eat.
It's been scything down all day where has Summer gone, I was getting right in the mood, had my shorts on too, yesterday.

Love feeling better, although I kept us all up last night with my coughing, in the end I took some night nurse and I settled. But as soon as I move to let in cat in/out whatever it wants then I start coughing all over again.

I'm earlier than the early birds .This is 'cos I feel asleep on the sofa.
What a dismal day ,it's rained mostly all the time .Not cold though,muggy really.
I bet you're pleased to have a new drier Neti.Hope the cough soon clears but they do tend to drag on a bit when you've had a bad chest.
I'm fairly happy today as I only have to go back once a week for the leg now. The nurse was pleased with it and the new dressing seems to be doing the trick.She was very positive so hopefully I will avoid the hospital.Went from the clinic to visit my SiL's old friend who we used meet up with regularly. Haven't seen her since my SiL died only chats on the phone .She doesn't get out much as she's crippled up with RA.It was really nice to see her and we had a good natter.

Oh good shaney hope the leg heals sooner rather than later.
I had a bad night, I waited for hija to come home as it was her day off and didn't know what state she was in, it was 1.15 and she had to be up again at 6, so once she was settled the demented cat had me up and down all night which caused me to cough, the awake again at 6 to hope and pray hija got to work ok, the thing is shed had a couple of drinks earlier in the day so I was worried but she was fine, but I do worry.
And it is pouring down so Mr N cannot finished tiling the pool or golf.
So I do hope the biddies had a better night and you all feel fine. I feel fine too!

Good news about your leg Shaney! It looks like most of the weather is over here now. We had a Singapore night here, very warm and rainy, also the cockchafers started to hatch. We had one come indoors which I had to catch and put out as the dogs refused to come in, then at 4 am they woke me to tell me it was raining heavily and they didn’t like it...turned out they we both bursting for a wee but unable to go out in the garden without an escort because monsoon. My dogs are idiots.
Sis went home today, she is back again in about 3 weeks. We are going to put bunting up for the Queen’s official birthday and have a display of red white and blue bunting in a big tub :)

We've escaped the forecast thunderstorms today and it got out nice .It's very muggy though.Oh noo Woofy not those damn things already .They come down my chimney. I know they're harmless but they give me the heebie jeebies.
Yes it is good news and it bucked me up as I've been a bit down with it all.It's less painful too although I still know it's there .I was chatting to a lady there yesterday who's had both legs bandaged for three years ..yes, three years and yesterday they put her in compression socks. She was over the moon ,love her. I've got to know some of the regulars and we have a chat about it all and my bro keeps them entertained when I go into the treatment room.
I've done some very much needed household engineering today,flapping a duster about and cleaning the fridge etc.Must keep moving.
Hope the rest of you are all ok and goodnight all and woofers.
