Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Morning, am on the mend, at least sore throat has gone, still have absolutely no energy or desire to get up, but as I feel dizzy I am staying in bed.

Warm and sunny here too but don't think I'll wearing a bikini.I don't want to frighten the neighbours.
Good that you seem on the mend Neti ,but these things take a while to clear up completely.When I had that horrible virus last year I felt listless for ages afterwards.
Nothing doing here otherwise.Lot's of things I could and should be doing but can't be bothered.

It's beautiful weather here today a little cooler than yesterday after the rain.

Mr N gone with friends for paella lunch. So I swept the patio, hoovered the carpet,fed the feral cats, cleaned mousey's poo pot, and invented a plastic wrap over hija's work shirt on the towel airer to hopefully get it dry . Now back in bed! Getting there.

A'noon all, here I is. Thank you again for the birthday wishes, I had a lovely but tiring day.
Yesterday however, like woofy, I got up with a sinus headache. Then the weather turned stormy and it upgraded to the mother of all migraines.Hardly ate all day and buffer me if it didn't come back this morning, haven't had one this bad since I started the beta blockers. I think, I hope, I'm over the worst, just had a mug of chicken complan. It's an acquired taste but doesn't half buck you up.
I'm missing the glorious if breezy weather. 'Spect I'll be up and running when it's gone downhill. What a lot we is. Carry on improving where applicable, take it easy ...I'm glad I can grumble on here and not get that 'she's always moaning' look :)

Baby snowflake's walking at last. I'll teach him how to waft a duster round and do a bit of weeding :)

I've been abandoned. Mr N is whooping it up or down rather with our friends, hija was here and then she wasn't. Fed up with the overcast dampish weather, even though I am still, abed.
Snowflake walking? Kids are clever, I love the first staggering moves when it's touch and go as to whether they'll make it, we'll done laddie.

But then he staggered home hungry ( tough) and hija appeared with a takeaway hamburger and chips. I ate a few chips and that is my main meal. I have lost 3 kilos in weight yippee and hoping that I can make the last supper tomorrow night before my friends leave!

Morning all. Doctors today at 1pm. Big toe is hurting like billyho it must be the gout I was diagnosed with years ago. Hurts. Just insisted we get a tumble drier as the washing has been under patio for 3 days and still damp. He's gone Mardy!
Good luck with the appointment shaney. We never had this problem but now all of a sudden we have to wait days (6 in my case) .

oh poo, my credit card's been cancelled just because someone had been usng it to spend big in New York. (My card has more fun than I do.) I don't know how as it's still sitting on my desk. And I'd just about memorised the number too, and now I'll have to start again with a new card.

I have bronchitis new anti bio meds and big toe flared up it was so painful. I'd been told years ago that I had it but never anything like this pain. So doc got me straight to Urgencies and they injected my bum. Waa so funny I was sitting there with my boot off and the nurse aid. We do in the bum I felt so ridiculous but w all had a good laugh and I hobbled out Mr N was with me just in case!

I moaned to Mexico that it took 6 days to get an app so bless him he said don't bother, next time just come to surgery and he'll see me. I am either very important or very ill! Mmmm let me think on that on!

Oh dear neti, hope the drugs work. I prayed for someone to appear with a shot of painkiller for my migraine this weekend, I thought visualisation might work but it didn't. I used to be able to just ring and go to the hospital until all the original nurses and consultants left and then the system changed. I never abused the privilege, it was just my safety blanket. Those were the days.
