Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

I turned up for a physio appointment last night only to find it closed. They've now confirmed they meant today. Plus my tooth is hurting so I've got a dentist appointment too. It must be the weather :-(
Must be our biorhythms out of balance. I found this, put my d.o.b in and it shows all my levels to be as low as they can go....hmmmm, that's interesting.

oh dear, intellectual and emotional at rock bottom but physical peaking. It's actually the other way round.

Well I had a go at that bio whatsit and dint understand anothing red green and blue lines all over the place ( bit like me really so maybe right)
so excited my mobile rang, it never does, and it's about a car crash I never had, in a country I wasn't in. :-(
My intellect is at rock bottom, physically and emotionally I'm on a high...lol
They haven't seen me stumbling along poking my tongue out at people and the peas and sweetcorn I had for veg this evening have done nothing for my biorhythms except give me indigestion.
The good news is I can have a bath next Tuesday :)
Oh ...and it's stopped raining .Still chilly though .Flaming June starts tomorrow but am not holding my breath.

Hopefully I can have a bath soon, water has been off all day, luckily I have big spare bottles to wash with, and drinking water in the fridge, but I feel dirty even though I have had an all over wash, like we did in the 70s, I haven't lost the knack!

Well done with the old leg then shaney if you can have a bath!
she might have to take it off before she gets in the tub, neti.

My cousin, wot's just left, told me that she's taking turmeric for arthritis and has been able to take up knitting again after giving it up for several years because her hands were so bad. So I've added yellow pills to all the other hues in my daily pill popping. Saw the physio, saw the dentist - got to go back for a longer look on Thursday, as it looks as if the choice will be root canal or extraction. If you can call that a choice.
You'll certainly enjoy that bath shaney. Have candles and a glass of something to make it special :)

It rained all afternoon here too but the grass had been cut by then and it looked lovely.
I've heard how good turmeric's supposed to be. I just want an all round wonder drug....you never know, it could be right there on the spice rack.
Jno, quite a few of the dog people I know on facebook give their dogs Golden paste which is turmeric mixed with coconut oil...apparently the results on creaky dogs are amazing.
Yay for Shaney and Neti getting a bath! but not together.
Apparently the danger time with biorhythms is when they transition the mid point. Two mid point transitions at the same time are supposed to be difficult and if all three transition together then stay in bed!
I have spent most of the day telling Shughy that no the world is not going to end even though the weather is dire...no thunder but it was bad, we kept losing the satellite signal. When i wasn’t doing that i was finding the torts in their soaking wet pen and telling them no they can’t stay in the wet bushes cos its too cold and yes they do have to go back in the nice warm but dull bedroom. Oh and I cut off some tree branches. same old same old really.
Lol..I'd love a glass of something but still on the painkillers. Strict instructions though .I have to take the bandage off and bath before I go to the clinic.
Only plain warm, not hot water,no scented soap or gels and wash leg with dermol and apply dressing. So I doubt I'll be soaking for long. I'm hoping there'll be no rebandaging just dressing, but have to wait and see. Plus I got told off for sticking a knitting needle down the bandage and scratching with it as it was so itchy. So I lost my gold star.
Yes it's been just like the 60's for me lately having a strip wash at the sink every day.
That's good for your cousin Jno .It's sad when you have to give up a hobby you enjoy.I've carried on knitting off and on as it keeps my hands flexing but if I get what I call a flare up then I find it difficult and have to leave it until my sausage fingers de-swell. Good luck with the teeth.
Time for bed and hope I get better sleep tonight.Hope you all sleep well. Nighty night.

Good opening happy biddies.
I can't stand lazing in a bath with wine and candles would drive me mad! Just hung out hija's bedding which I did on timer overnight. Now having a cuppa in bed before I jump in the bath with water hopefully.
Question Author
Shaney that is very naughty scratching with a knitting needle but guess it was driving you mad. Snap woody I also hacked off some branches, not mine but horrible neighbours at the bottom as they never do them and they overhang the lane and poor postie has a job getting here.
Question Author
Sorry woofy not woody.
Occasionally I take a flyer and get into a bath but its never as nice as i expect it to be.
Question Author
Yay I've had my bath, I had its early in case water went off again!
Question Author
What's a flyer?
golly Neti have you not heard that before? It means taking a chance.
Morning...It's cold, wet, dark and windy. Of course it is, it's June.
Morning all
Another dreary day here .Same old crip weather. It must be warm and sunny somewhere, surely.
Hope you're all ok though.
