Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Good morning...it's a lovely warm breeze sunny one.

So far today I've found 3 four-leaf clovers ....I've found them in past years, the first flush of clover in one area sometimes includes them...and a black cat's been to visit me. He often does but he was really telling me something today. One more sign and I'll be rushing to do the euromills but I'd rather not find a rabbit's foot.

Was a lovely sunny day but now its clouding over. Hija and I went out for brekkie and then an amble home.
I then cleaned the deep fat fryer, what a job. Already washed my bedding etc and it is now dried and awaiting ironing!!

Murky here and not all that warm .They did say it would be cooler on the coast. You just need an itchy palm Robinia for a hat trick
Off to Morrisons shortly for some shopping.I've only got two eggs and no butter in the house.We're going late to avoid the students and grockles.

I have thrown 2 deep fryers away when my attempts to clean them failed :)

I threw away my first one as it was terribly manky, but the lidl one comes apart so is much easier to clean luckily, so I have now used it after forbidding hija to dirty it!! For a long time I have used two odl saucepans for deep frying, but even they have given up the ghost now! Poor hija is working later tonight, started at 7pm and will finish at 2,30!! I will worry!!

morning all...bit fresh but it's dry and mostly sunny.

I've never owned a deep fat fryer. I can't remember when I last shallow fried anything. I've been considering buying a small wok and giving that a go though. I love chicken chow mien kind of thing.

Sunny then cloudy .Not exactly warm either. I want hot !
I haven't got a deep fat fryer either.Had one years ago but it was a faff to clean and I chucked it.I rarely cook chips these days and if I do I cook 'em in a wok as I don't like oven chips.

good morning all, it's hot hot hot here and most sweaty, my eye is streaming all over my face and swollen, asked chemist for something to calm it but they didnt dare being as it's my nose causing it, so back to mexico to see if he can calm it before I have my nose job which could take months yet.
We rarely fry anything and never when hija was small, she hated chips but now we have sometimes we have cheese croquettas and rarely chips. We buy ready cooked chicken thighs and wings and they need a quicl pop into the fryer and are delicious, can put them in the oven but that takes soooo long.

We like wok cooking but I leave that to Mr N it's his wok and he is very proud of it!

I have got a wok burner on my cooker but no wok! I stir fry in a frying pan, much easier

The temperature drops considerably when the clouds pass over which is every couple of minutes. I'll see if it's warm enough to potter at the end of the garden.

Dunelm have got a clearance sale at the moment and I need a couple of other things. Actually the Tarquins have probably got a spare one, they were both keen cooks before they got together and now they've two, three or four of everything.

house guest is en route to Honkers. Next one is not due to arrive here till Friday. Don't know what to do with all the free time.

Morning...it dropped chilly last night and, ooooh, it's bloomin' chilly this morning.

The only house guests I've had recently are the eight legged variety....it's ok, I don't have to cater for them and they provide their own bedding.

bank holiday weather closing in here, cooler and windier, but at least we don't have summer storms like the ones they're having across Europe, on account of we're not having a summer yet.

Bank holiday weather here too.Cool and chilly.We seem to be sat under a cloud which won't shift.
Those lightning strikes in France etc were awful.I expect some scaremongers will be blaming it on Brexit.

Europe can keep the storms. I had a lovely morning out, got the plants i wanted, lovely gossip, dogs good left at home. Chicken roasting in the oven so its all good.
