Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Hello all, well after a twitchy day the boys are settled tonight which is good. Cooler weather tomorrow also good. The tortoises had a lovely day eating and sunbathing and my fridge now looks normal. I have made brad and butter pickles and set a piece of salmon to cure in a beetroot mix. Tomorrows pickles are planned to be carrot and I will bake granola bars. I do love a bit of normal.

You're a busy bee Woofy. The good news is that we've just taken delivery of a parcel of goodies from the german deli.Thought we'd better get an order in quick before the worst comes to worst and the wurst goes up in price.
The bad news is the Accuweather headline..

Morning...oooh my spinnin' head, I'm rockin' and reelin' all over the place, I feel lousy. Had to postpone a dentist heck up appt, I couldn't bear to be tipped back and have my mouth invaded by foreign objects, she was really nice about it. It's this silly constant stormy atmosphere and the clouds are gathering again.

so sorry to hear you have got the collywobbles Robi. I managed to mow the lawn this morning, which was just as well as we had the monsoon again this afternoon. I made granola bars too which have the canine seal of approval, then it tipped down and I had to do loads of cuddling again. Didn’t get the pickles made as my posh new jars haven’t arrived. I have no idea what has happened to Accu. It will tell me that it isn’t raining on the timeline while showing it tipping down on the radar! Sorry to hear about the car Neti so annoying

Oh dear Jude. We are here to provide a whole bunch of friendly ears if needed. The lord knows you lot have been here for me when I needed you. Weather very iffy here today, Shughy not sure whether to worry or not...has decided its ok if I stay close so not so much going on today. Mt pretty jars have arrived so got pickled carrots to do and five cards to make for my family who all have birthdays on July!

Raining dirty rain here!! For some strange reason I have washed patio!! Also installed some solar lamps dotted around the land and patio. Found another dead sewer rat. Never had them before Brexit!!

So so day, bit of sun ,bit of cloud ,might be shower ,might not .Same old.

Leg still bandaged but only until tomorrow when I can have another bath and go back for socks instructions.They hadn't arrived yesterday at the pharmacy but should be there later this afternoon.I hope they're not those Norah Batty type things .

That brings back memories shaney of my first pair of stocking when I was 14, they were thick lisle (what old women wore) I nearly died of shame having to wear them to church , just hoped against hope that none of my friends would see but as they were not churchgoers or live in our area I got away with. Parents eh?

We used to have to wear horrible 60 denier stockings at school with seams up the back in some ghastly colour..Sun mist I think it was called. Awful.They cost 7/6 a pair from Marks and I was forever laddering them.Then tights came in and we rebelled by wearing patterned ones.

That awful attack on Istambul airport, I was certain it was on the cards and am so glad hija isn't flying to and from Dubai as she always had to change planes in Istambul.
