Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Goos morning all.
I have been bitten on one buttock several times it is incredibly itchy. We are going to the beach later so how can I look alluring with all these bites on botty? No idea what caused it. It must have been a rogue ant. I've checked bed and there's nothing.
Goos morning to you too neti (and all)...no thong for you today then, you'll have to dig out your Victorian bathing bloomers. It's dry and sunny at the moment but 13C isn't flesh baring temperature. There hasn't been a day this week that the road hasn't been awash at some point.

Novak didn't look well yesterday, I couldn't decide whether it might be physical or emotional. Probably picked up one the many viruses that seem to doing the rounds. I sat watching tennis all afternoon and eating junk which I paid for with grumbling, griping insides all night...tut. They're playing today because of the weather this past week.

Aw, sulky torts... it's not funny that they're miserable but I'm trying to imagine them having even more sad faces than they normally have. Your bodiless boots have been following me around the interweb since you posted the link woofy... :)
Yes, very sad news about Caroline Ahern.
laughing with Jno on the Ed’s thread.....the person concerned is such an easy target. Sorry about the boots Robi. I have got adblock plus and nuffin follows me nowhere.....but they are good boots.
We are enjoying peace and quiet here for a change.
Hello all
Not a bad day.Cloudy and sunny .Warm out the back ,chilly at the front
Yes I think he looked tired yesterday Robinia
Oh noo Neti not a bitten botty .You'll have to wear your sarong. Don't scratch it:)
Do these argumentative people ever have a day off ?
busy day coming up, a decorator arrives about 8am, we are off to an exhibition shortly after that (the decorator can work on the outside of the house, her upstair's balcony rails are crumbling because the council ordered her to make them of softwood), then we come back for a while in case it's raining and the decorator wants to come inside and look at our ceilings, then we are off to the Hampton Court flower show, for which OH won tickets in a prize draw.

So I may not have much time to join in AB's jolly banter.

Back home, mits so hot but it was breezy on the beach holiday and the waves were huge which meant that I just sat and looked at them, Mr N cavorted amongst them. Lunch eat very nice, we had tapas and wine and beer, m rather jolly occasion. Then home at last, i am shattered , so Mr N decides he has lost his keys so much as I want to sleep i am under the furniture,,under the cars head first in beach basket and towels, ah then he remembers he left them in his safe, grrrrr. Hija's gone to Blue Marlin a famous daytime and expensive club, I am now on bed waiting for load of towels to finishing washing.
wine and beer and now neti's under the furniture... just another day in Ibiza
just found a couple of vamp beaders on far-flung twigs of my family tree. Apparently they sewed beads/buttons onto the top parts of shoes.

Well I am just glad that you lot can decipher my misspelled ramblings!
Question Author
Actually Mr N doesn't cavort anywhere anytime, he just dipped in,
two pints makes one cavort.... but that probably doesn't work in metric.
oh very clever Jno!

Is that your transylvanian heritage showing?
Question Author
Morning all, no jno, no pints were included at that time!
Why is it that every time I get up to make a cuppa to take to bed, I end up sweeping and washing the patio, feeding 2 feral cats. Drying the damp overnight washing in drier and putting away, hoovering indoors and tidying lounge. Now only have a few mins for my tea in bed!
Morning all
It's a lovely one too .Makes a nice change.
I never do anything until I've drunk my cuppa Neti. I need ages to come to these days.I can no longer get up and go.
As it's such a nice day we're going south of the border later to do a bit of shopping in Lowestoft.

Shattered of Spain here. Tried twice more to renew hija's passport still no luck. 3 phone calls to bank and c/card company and its because I don't bank online! So had to take my pension out of my "cash only" bank put it into hija's account and bingo all accepted. What a palaver. Got a headache now._
shattered of Uk here. Shughy has been convinced all day that the weather is coming in and I have to say from the feel of the air that i agree with him despite the forecast saying otherwise.

I washed our bedding and anything else in sight, now folded up waiting to be ironed, no iron seems to have stopped steaming. Took bin bags to rubbish and found a love double held which I think, will fit nicely over tumble drive and give me more storage. Took about half an hou to figure out how to get it into car, then how to get it out again! Then I had to lug it up 9 steps to the side patio so Mr N won't see it. Tomorrow when I have more energy I'll fit it in.

New iron not steaming. I found a lovely double shelf

I am here to produce more rubbish!
Are you ready?
Poor Mr N came home early and starving, well he moans if dinner is ready and he can't bathe or rest, so it wasn't reany, next thingeneration I knowmismhemismin kitxhin cooking a lovely chicken stir fry, hey how I just enjoyed it.
Then I decidea to have a cool bath because of the coloured much k I put on in the morning to ma key me tanned has to be washed off so a bath does it properly. On drying off I glance into the muddy coloured water and there is half a rubber band, so I reach in to stop it going down the plughole ( we are not on mains) and it's a thick wriggling bitey centipede which promptly goes down the loo and flushed twice ( ok so I know its the same drain but seems better down the loo) Now where did it come from? It wasn't in Bath before me! It wasn't on any of the walls as I would defo had noticed, did it come off me? And where would I have got it from? Eugh
