Electricity In Dubai?

Hot and very windy here .Hope you're all ok.
I like todays Google doodle .I think they did the hurdling spider 'specially for you Neti :)
Not much doing here ,I'm incognito mostly indoors today as I spent a lot of time in the garden yesterday filling up the bin and overdid it.

Same here shaney, I don't feel very lively either and it's a bit too warm in the sun for gardening but annoyingly windy in the shade.

Hello all nothing much to report..Had a lazy lie-in, then we went out for Paella, en famille, ate up at storm. So hot, I can't remember it being this hot but I say this every year.
Spent all pm in cool bedroom but I have done 2 loads of washing and folded them in readiness for ironing. I ironed hija's work uniform but that was it.
Been watching the gymnasties.

38C on my garden thermometer.
Too hot even under the trees and a brolly.Sat out for a while with my book but had to come in,my eyes were going funny ..lol.Still it's an excuse for chs & watercress sarnies and ice cold orange squash 'cos I ain't cooking in this.Mr S is helping himself to anything he can find:)

There's nothing much on teevee except olympics.I like the swimming but that's about it .I think I'll be watching CBeebies in desperation soon as there's a month of it ahead yet.
Luckily I had some catch up saved for tonight so just watched Full Steam Ahead and a prog about the eighties with Dominic Sandbrook.Quite interesting .Power suits,padded shoulders,mullets and riots.
Too hot to go to bed but I'll say goodnight all anyway.
