Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Morning all...haha, a swimming lemon on google today.

A month of olympics? Oh no, I thought it was a couple of weeks :( I listened to motown and did puzzles and sudokus by the open window...won't be opening any windows this morning, it's very chilly, hopefully it'll warm up later.

There's something scratching about in my loft.... sigh always something to fluffing deal with, I don't half get peed off sometimes.

Morning all or not. We went out looking at snake traps but they need a live mouse in them, and you have to feed the mouse until it gets used!!! I absolutely could not!
Just done a huge pile of ironing. Hija went out after work at 3am and came home at 10am. I'm always relieved when she gets home.
I did enjoy the jungle book, really much better than the cartoon one.

Woofy how are you getting with the Pokemon? I'm still out of balls and went to the nearest Pokes top but they had run out, I wasn't best pleased! So still have none which means tomorrow I must do a ball run! Hija showed me how to catch them so,it's easier now!

Hello all
Much cooler today thank goodness after the scorcher yesterday.Pleasantly warm with a nice breeze as I trudged to the library and pharmacy
I love that Robinia ,poor old pooch is flaked out after all that poking.
I really don't get it .There are people wandering about even in this backwater staring at their phones and you have to dodge round them.
I'm well stocked with books ,crossword mags and knitting and am recording a drama on tv today and tomorrow to watch instead of the constant sport but in the meantime I have my brothers ironing to do. That should keep me occupied until about Thursday:)

My Pokemon come to me but I need balls!! I get lots of the critters but can't catch em all! I wonder if when I registered they realised my age and are being kind, I mean they can't expect me to climb Everest do they? Or dance all night in Pacha. ;-)

We ate up all the left overs as hija opens things and leaves them, so we had half a tin of baked beans on toast with cheese and fried eggs and crispy bacon, was really nice but as much cooking and washing up as a proper meal!
Sitting in bed with just the fan whirling round but its too warm,,so putting the old trusty air con on a bit earlier than normal.

no, I am back. Maybe I am on a mobile phone game somewhere. The man next door has got lumberjacks in to clear the rainforest in his garden; they've cut a big tree down byut unfortunately not one of the ones that blocks our light. I must go and visit and see what's up. I suspect it is not our neighbour but one of his kids holidaying here from Saudi.

Mr N faffing as he needs insurance forms printing and our old machine takes simply forever. I told him to buy a WiFi one then I could print from phone but no. So it is lumbering away. It is probably the same make and model as Queen Victoria used!!

looking nice here too. Only two medical appointments today, both for my right foot, one to see if it is sore, the other to see if it has cancer. The truth lies somewhere in between, I hope.

blackened toenail is nothing serious, just some sort of blood blister or something. it is working its way out as the toenail grows so in another three months it will probably be gone. I'll see the physio tonight for another go at the plantar fasciitis, but I thik that's slowly improving as well.

Still got an MRI scan of my entire leg coming up next week to see if there's any links between all its ailments. I shall sing the hip bone's connected to the thigh bone.

Its nice not having any medical appointments to attend. I have to sort out a mammogram as at my age I've been disincluded from the National screening!! My sister found her cancer at 70+!! Don't know why we get signed off at this age!!

Good evening...it's been a cool to mild day, the breeze got up again.
I had the exciting choice of shopping, ironing or the garden...the garden won. In ye olden dayes I'd have done everything and all before elevenses. Hey ho.

Non serious is what we like to hear jno. I think I need a head to toe scan to see what's linked to what. I don't think my brain's fully connected some days.

That's good Jno .These little things can be worrying so it's best to get them checked out.
I've got to phone for an appt for my xray results.Not that it'll be any good.Probably the same old wear and tear scenario but I might set my stall out yet again and ask for some cortisone.
Very cool here .I'm wearing a cardi and the mini fan I ordered arrived earlier, typical :)
