Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Hello all We are having odd weather here yesterday and this morning. periodically black clouds sweep over and Shughy gets upset, I feel it too, definite weather head, then five minutes later its all fine again. Nevertheless I got a lot of gardening done yesterday, pea haulms removed and tub replanted with autumn stuff (purple angelica, bronze fennel, michaelmas daisies and some horseradish...also something i don’t know the name of that has golden leaves and tiny spikes of brilliant magenta flowers) I also moved some bags of potting mix ready to plant new tubs and cut down and chopped up my wild rose. It is covered on pink flowers on June but takes over everything if I don’t keep it in check, today my back is nagging me and my arms look like I fought a bear but its worth it. today I plan to make bread and butter pickles.

Afternoon al.
We are in the midst of a storm, it was so overcast amd unbearably close, so hopefully this will break it. Feels better already.
Satellite tv gone off due to cloud and rain, watching ch. 5!! as its the only one working.
Ive been emailing estimates for Mr N. Hija was up until 5.45 watching recordings that Ive done for her. but she gets home about 2.30 and it seems only fair that she can relax a bit before bed. Wears me out though.

It's got out lovely here but the wind is cool.That sounds daft really but there's been a marked drop in the temps.I felt a bit like a wet lettuce earlier so went and had a snooze on the bed as I felt shivery,but it isn't really cold out there ,just not so warm, if that makes sense.

same here, shaney. I even reverted to wearing a cardi at one stage, and then it wrmed up a bit again. I don't really know what season is going on out there. However, whatever the physio did to my knee yesterday (it was just ultrasound) has made it hurt again today, so the treatment must be working, but I am not walking round much.

Strange weather all round. Temps have dropped 33° to 23° but still very humid so not nice. It was dirty rain so have just cleaned patio and steps and was so warm I jumped on pool. Feel fresher now.
What's ultrasound jno? It is like a scan?

Good morning all. Nice and sunny and a bit cooler after the storm. It is now 25°. I was woken at 00.30 by the darkness, no not the pop group. The leccy has gone off and its amazing how things like clocks light the room and you notice when they are off even though I was asleep. For some reason our circuit breaker has popped of so Mr N reset it. I am terrified of the circuit breaker hate it.

Mornin'...what a dark, dismal, chilly one it is too. Yesterday was quaite naice but I didn't do much except wait around for a call from the mexico. I didn't think I needed to appear in person so booked a phone appointment but they don't give you a specific time....all sorted in 1min 37secs, not worth sitting in the waiting room with all the coughing, sneezing pokemon detectives.

Tarquin was going to have ultrasound treatment on one of his knees but it improved before the appointment.

Apparently I have a body match with 3 thirty something olympic athletes, running, fencing and cycling.
Who'd have thought it? Tokyo 2020, here I come. :)

Dull and raining here but it's warmed up a bit.
Hope your knee eases off Jno .I had that done to a knee some years ago now. It helped for a while but they're both beyond help now,
which is no good for my body match of taekwondo and athletics.I'd still be running round when they start the next olympics.

I am the same height as 772 athletes,mother same weight as 279, no one shares my age (not surprising!), I am the exact height and weight as Gemma Tattersell, equestrian, and Enas mostafa yossef armhed an egyptian female wrestler , and chien-ying le Chinese male Archer!!!

I was making cheesey potato cakes for lunch and I sloshed in a little water from a small bottle standing on dresser, then I took a gulp and it was neat vodka! Hija had taken it out of her handbag after taking it to Amnesia club! I shall have to check all bottles in future.
