my son has been in prison again, where he got clean again ,he is now living on the street and back on heroine .I can't see any future for him and just waiting for the knock on the door .sorry to bore you with this again but I just want to get it off my chest as it is breaking my heart .

Addiction cannot be treated with a few days in a clinic and a few prescription drugs!

Mally, like others here, I cant offer much (if anything) in way of advice but you got my empathy.
Im still fighting my own addiction (alcohol) and know what Ive put others through but the demon is my own to defeat as is your son's.

mallyh, How dreadful for you. I really can't imagine how you feel - I don't think anyone who hasn't been in your situation can. An utter nightmare for any caring parent. Just devastatingly heart-breaking.

he has been on subutex many times .he said he wants to be clean ,gets clean then goes back to heroine its a vicious circle ,he told his sister that me and mr mallyh aren't bothered (that's because we aren't giving him money ).

Addicts become very devious. They’ll twist any given situation to enable an outcome which furthers their self destruction. But you probably know that. I hope you get some comfort quickly.

yes we do know that .they blame everybody for their situation .I've lost count of the times he has text me goodbye .mr mally says he text me to pull on my heartstrings .
