Can we we re-phrase 'banning'?

I'm sure we have all has something 'banned' from here be it question or answer but the term banned is so damning.Why can't they simply be 'removed' with a brief, standard description of why?

Losing sky channels

Higher mpg = higher petrol prices?

As we all know cars are getting more efficient at fuel consumption.My car does 35 to the gallon but new cars do 50+ to the gallon.Is this increase in efficiency related to the rising cost of fuel...

Overnight downloads - low power setting?

I often leave my pc on overnight to dl large files.When I do this, is there any way of switching the pc to some sort of low power mode? Other than turning the monitor off I dont know what else to do !

How do I contact a church with no phone listings ?

I need to obtain a copy marriage certificate and after visiting my local register office, I can only get it from the church where we got married.The church in question does not have a listed phone...

Plastic pipes old sizing vs new

My plastic drainage pipe from my sink has broken on the outside of the wall.I bought replacement parts but they are 40mm diameter whereas my existing piping is slightly larger than this, I assume...
