am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

Lovely link Swedie. Poor you, snow again and it's been lovely and warm here in North Norfolk today. Just spent a couple of hours in the garden with a saw. My idea of heaven!!

I must admit Neti, that I have a thing about clothes and shoes too!! but not sauceands (whatever they might be)!! ;o)

I could happily live without a mobile phone. I don't want to talk to people when I am out and about, except the ones I am with of course!!, I don't want to check emails, take photos, use it is a diary, play games etc. But yes, they are good for emergencies.
That's a very smart phone Neti ! No good to to technophobes such as me though :)
I have a phone with bells and whistles but have no idea how it all works. It has a camera and all sorts but I only ever use it to make and recieve calls or texts .I get about two texts a month if that and most of the calls are " They haven't got the herrings in cream ,will normal pickled be OK " hahaa....

You have snow Kit ? Oh my goodness .Make sure you have your gripper thingys on whilst venturing out for cat food .
Mind you looking on the forecast today we are in for some some " flurries" as the Met Office call them .Winter isn't done with us yet . I hope you're feeling more relaxed . You sound as if you are :)
Hope all biddies are trucking along ....bugger the leaves Jno ..go and have a good time .I'm always fishing leaves out of the drain .I never notice it until the bathwater is halfway down the drive :)
Two for one Lofty ? I'll be there .Just let me get Mr S over his " procedure" next week
Glad you are feeling a bit better Robinia and hope Mr Woofy is OK
Love to you all
Pip pip xxxxx
Shaney in response to your query "You have snow Kit?" I have just snapped this for you through my bedroom window... http://i52.tinypic.com/160obqt.jpg
hello all, lazy day today, DH is stuffed with cold but otherwise well, i have a sore throat, gift of DH and Rab the idiot has pulled a shoulder muscle yet again and is feeling sorry for himself....Shughy is just resigned.
Robi I am glad to hear you are feeling better. I am a bit of a gadgetty type anyway but got to say when DH was in hospital, the mobile phones went from good in emergencies to never leaving my side day and night.
Mild and damp here. Kit I know what you mean about explaining to animals, mine are convinced that if they go out a different door it won't be raining. Does Zingo like paper bags? if he does, one with a little dry cat trat in can provide hours of fun.
Hi Woofy, what's 'trat'? You mean treat? How would it last him for hours? Hm, I don't have any paper bags about but it's a good idea, I'll get some the next time I go shopping.
yes Kit, treat...most cats like the rustling noise made by the bags and will hunt the treats, pounce, trash the bag, get in it and generally create havoc... a sheet of paper loosely screwed up with some food in it might work...when i was a kid, our cat used to love to play with a piece of paper screwed up and tied to a length of string or wool..you can either trail it on the floor and play with them or hang it somewhere the cat can get at it.
Wasn't being facetious Woofy, I thought trat might be a word... Robi uses words all the time that aren't in any dictionaries, lol... she's the worst one of the biddies in that respect:) Yes we did the twisted paper on a string-thing with our cats when I grew up, looked like a bow tie - I had forgotten. He's got a toy mouse on a string, and a ball with a bell I bought for him, but somehow when I play with him with those I always end up running all over the place while he sits still on the kitchen floor and watches me ha ha ha... The paper bag idea sounds promising so I'll try to remember to get some:)
evenin all...ooh, booger, you think you feel better until you start doing something don't you, it didn't take long for me to go all rag doll again. Sorry to hear you & mr w are starting with it woofy, I hope it's not this lousy stinker.
Today has been the quietest all week though which was lovely, I expect there'll be someone here all weekend, I just hope they don't do any more late nights. Please send all weapons just in case.

Oh no, the S word! We don't need any more of that but it's certainly not too late. It's a beautiful pic though Kit...it looks like me & some of my family in a snowdrift :o)

<Creases up laughing at Kit searching for all the typos in the dictionary, hahahaha>
^^Evil woman, I can hear you cackle from here. What's this?

Goodnight sweethearts, I can see you yawning

I love that racoon....looks so human. Since you posted Kit I have been singing " cat trat, cat trat, cat trat" in my head. In the sixties in the Uk, apologies if you know this, trats were smart places to eat...short for trattoria, a casual Italian restaurant. So a cat trat would be a smart place for cats to eat

still awake, Rab is restless and needed a pee. He and I are on the settee tonight (no stairs) Shughy is being so good, has settled in a dog bed without fuss. Good job i did manual handling at work, poor Rab needs help onto the settee. Happily we are free tomorrow as i expect I will be knackered. Rab's just dropped off again so I will doze in a minute.
Was Lottie drunk last night or is she on the buttercup syrup too?

Good morning mi dears...dull & damp at the moment but we've been promised some sunshine for later...I'll sue if they're wrong.

haha, that racoon hand is funny if a bit creepy... yes, must be me :o)
Hope the snow disapppears quickly Kit, poor Zingo...

I love Simon's cat

Poor ole Rab, hope he loosens up soon woofy, Charlie used to have a lot of neck, back & shoulder problems, many self inflicted from his (furniture) mountaineering exploits ...but of course he's whole lot easier to woman handle up & down steps etc.

For anyone who needs cheering up there was another hilarious mime from David Armand last night...and I love the song ...

pump up the volume folks, the bangin's started :o(
And I seem to have developed a sudden crick in my neck, I wonder what caused that...?
<loads up the kitapult>
morning all, shattering night made even more interesting by mega night sweats and hot flushes. All well here Rab much better but still hobbling, DH sleeping well for the first time since the cold hit. see you all later.
Lottie had had half a bottle of wine :o( Oh dear!!
Hope you and Rab have a good restful day Woofy.

Good morning Robi!!

Slopes off ashamed.............................
lol Lottie, nor wine but rib medicine.
Its a lovely sunny day here. Dh improving, Rab improving, I have showered and feel human. Shughy must have used up his whole years supply of good behaviour last night...no barking in the garden, no midnight monsters. Every time Rab stirred and I got up because he needed help to change position last night, Shughy would come over and go nose to nose with him, give him a quick face wash and go back to bed. So sweet
