am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

what's this... neti is too busy to see a doctor because she has to go to sea cadets today? That sounds strangely familiar... Glad that seems to have been sorted out anyway. I usually can make an appointment by phone quickly enough, except that the appointment won't be for a week. Anthing more urgent than a cough but less than a severed artery, I drive to a walk-in centre - you can't just walk in because the nearest ones are about 3 miles away. I always say I'm happy to see a locum because the locums are always better than my regular doctor. But I've been told the surgery is merging with another one sometime next month, so presumably this will all turn out for the worse. (In this part of the world you can see a doctor instantly but it costs money.)

Hope you are all okey dokey . Hospital went well .Mr S is on the list for a TURP .When that will be is anybody's guess .Sooner rather than later I hope as he's slightly piddled off .Pardon the pun .
I'm pleased to hear Neti's finger is still attached to her hand ,however if it's big fat and throbbing then I would go to the Urgentia asap .

Kit .Children can be very trying at times .Perhaps the Mum was having a bad day but of course that's no excuse to curse at them .
I've seen that dejected look but that doesn't mean I've been a bad mother .It means that if you've hidden under a rack of clothes in BHS giggling whilst I'm going frantic looking for you you can expect that you will NOT be going to Hamelys but will be on the bus home pronto and what I say goes and don't you dare play me up !
I often see mothers screaming at their children .It's modern day life I'm afraid and it's sad .I'm glad I was a stay at home Mum in the formative years .

neti, I was thinking of the invaluable mollykins, who is some kind of sea cadet. She's always around AB asking for advice and when she gets it she's always got a long list of reasons why she can't take it... goodness knows how many fingers she has.

Anyway, just keep weeding and you may work yourself into a new job
