Ohh ohh phh sorry lottie, yes she's a veggie for 2 weeks but not when there's a delicious barbi going!
he, he Neti. I wondered what on earth you were talking about until Robbi put you right - go back to bed!!!!
A fair-weather veggie, only when the meat's gone off? Very sensible.

The 11am-2pm sleep went sort of okay ao I am just about conscious but really feeling like death cooled down. Maybe I will drop off tonight, who knows. I am awf early Tuesday morning and will be staggering round Florida orange juice in hand, so if you don't hear from me till Feb that's why.
Evening folks
Hope you're all fair to middling and that Jude has stopped scratching .
Nice to see you again Dolly .Hope you and yours are all keeping well.

Muddly day here .My friend came round this morning with her sister who is here from South Africa ,then my brother turned up ,then Picky turned up ,and so it went on ...by the time I turned round it was dinner time .

Just watched Call the Midwife .I thought it was very good and true to the book .
I won't spoil it for you Neti ..you must watch it .I think you'll like it .
I'm off out for the day tomorrow with my bro and SiL for a lunch in Drayton and then we're going to a saw mill somewhere for wood and then a Farm Shop .

Jno, no doubt you'll be busy packing your bikinis by the time I'm back so I'll wish you bon voyage, safe journey and have a lovely time .

Oight Oight folks ..sleep well.
Oight oight all
It's Ok shaney I managed to see half of it as I was on small laptop and was watching ITV wondering why it was Dancing on Ice and not the midwife then I switched over and saw most of it, terrific, I loved the smelly woman!! Will download it anyway as it's a series I would like to keep.

Oight oight still waiting for fig child!!!
It's too early to say good morning so I wont.. I'm totally peeeeed off. Had 3 cool baths dabbed myself dry as instructed, taking the antihists and still itching for England. Can't wait to see my Dr tomorrow.
It's a quarter to three and there's
nobody in the place except me and me.
having a cuppa tea feeling like I've got a flea,
on my back, arms, legs and knee.
I really hope you are all tucked up in bed fast asleep
Like I should be.
Byeeee
Oh poor jude, lovely the ditty though. Hope you are feeling calmer today, must be driving you mad.

Morning to the rest of us! 10° and raining here, so apart from the fact I have bedding to change and wash, I am happy. 10am and I must get out of my bed.

I heard that Sherlock was good last night, so I will download it.

Morning all...beautiful frozen one yet again and the sparras have got their ice picks and pneumatic drills going. (I do thaw a couple of baths for them, I'm not that cruel :o))

Loved Call the Midwife and I'm looking forward to seeing 'Chummy' (Miranda) in it next week.

Oh dear Jude you poor thing...the trouble is that anti-hists take at least 24 hours to really kick in with something like that. The old triludan were much faster but because 1.3 people in the U.S. had a bit of a wheezy they snatched them away. But it's stll fine to wheeze and stagger into oblivion with cigs and alcohol...tut.

Ok, go on then jno, booger off to the sunshine state while we keep the homefires burning...Somebody chuck her slippers on!
Have a safe journey and a lovely time!
morning all, had a sleeping in morning here. Have a lovely time jno and hope you feel better soon jude. Seriously have you tried an icepack? Its icy here today, i don't think it was supposed to be.
Morning all,

Lovely morning as January should be sunny and freezing.

Looks as if our jno might well spend her time in Florida asleep!!

Sorry you are still itching Jude. Let us know how you get on at Docs today.

'Fig Child' ha, ha.

I enjoyed the Midwife but it's scary how it brought back memories to me, especially of the smogs and bicycles and women in aprons and turbans and rollers, and, and, and................

I lived in London during that time, albeit not the East end, but memories are still there.

Mr LL scuttled off - I presume not keen on looking at gory scenes of childbirth, knickers and syphilis!!

Suppose I better get going and have a shower.

See you later

xxxx
Ah, Woofy has the answer for Jude, go outside in the nuddy and roll around on the frost!!!
have just reread my post....whoopsie and lol LL, no I DID NOT mean a roll around in the nuddie in the muddy. My high energy gun dogs have gone back to sleep!
Meggie is curled up on the sofa on my new cushions in front of the woodburner - sure is a dog's life!!!

lol...that's all Jude needs right now, itchy chilblains on her... ermmm......
bleah, 10 hours sleep last night so I am back on track, but couldn't I just have the required amount every night rather than spread randomly across two days?
I am much the same jno, as far as sleep is concerned. I would love to go to bed and have, say, at least six hours straight sleep a night.
lovely picture Lottie!
Back from 2hr walk in the rain listening to MacArthur's park (mostly) love walking in the rain! Am shattered and damp now.

Was the midwife in the 50's then cos I thought it was earlier, but the music was 50's.
