That's a lovely picture Neti .Looks very peaceful .
Ah yes the old liberty bodices .I used to take mine off and remember in junior school doing PE in the front yard and looking up to see my sister looking at me through the fence and saying that she would tell my mother that I was wasn't wearing it . So of course got told off by mother when I came home from school .
Dolly I had cellulitis in my leg last year .It was pretty nasty and it ulcerated .It took forever to clear up and I was hobbling about with a walking stick for ages and had to have very strong antibiotics . Now it's all broken out again but sans the swelling and it's developed into something called pannicilitis which is an infection in the tissue under the skin .It's one of those medical mysteries :)
Anyway I'm pleased to hear your hubby is making a good recovery . Look after yourselves xx

Hi Dolly, it's good to hear that Mr D is gathering speed! My grandma told me about goose grease ;o).

My neighbour's phone was done & dusted by 9.30am & they even came round to test it from the house! Well done BT...I would call them to say thank you but there doesn't seem to be an option for "If you are thrilled skinny with our service please press 627" ... I don't know why.

Shaney we need to join forces & tour the country to teach 'em all how to get things done toot sweet...I've sorted the transport & the fuel, I just need to think of a catchy name...Shaney & Robi...Robi & shaney....mmmm, got it!

Question Author

Does your sis shop online? If you search Egg Topper tool there are hundreds of 'em

<sends neti's plant pic to RHS>

....and what is all this nonsense about Ian and Jane Beale coming to Formentera!(little island off of Ibiza) Well they must be coming Ryanair as there are no other direct flights and must wither be paying an incredible amount per night, or camping, the island is closed until first week of May! Am fed up with all the Eastenders popping over to Ibiza!!!!
Question Author
(wither NOT) *either*
goose grease and brown paper? Good grief, I do wonder at the British fashion sense sometimes

http://www.photoshopp...ormal_paper_dress.jpg

But I'm glad to hear things are getting better, Dolly. A friend tells me there's a lot of rain about down your way, which must be pretty unusual.

I remember Formentera, neti, we had our summer hols there a couple of times about 20 years ago - very unspoilt but there was an Argentine restaurant that did fab steaks.

My sisters and I at an early age - how sweet, before I discovered life!!!!
Question Author
Yes jno, still a lovely island with no fresh water at all!! Do you remember bottles of water in the bathrooms for teethcleaning etc?' and cups etc tasted saltyish?

You see what I mean Robi about wearing the same (although different) dress for years on end!!!
Neti those dresses look like my old school uniform. I never wore a liberty bodice but do remember Johnnie Ray poor chap with those giant hearing aids. We have been hitting IKEA today looking for wardrobe innards...we have decided to get organised (chokes with laughter)
and before you discovered photoshop, neti? Yes, I remember the salt water showers, you had to get special soap. On the other hand, you didn't need a swimsuit for the beaches, which was nice, and they were thousands of miles long, all golden sand.
Question Author
"Old school uniform" indeed!!! These were our Sunday best and we had a blue one, a pink one and a lilac one. How very dare you woofy!!!!!(we did also have an individual dress each so we weren't always alike)
Aww - that's you in the middle isn't it Neti?
Question Author
Yep, cute and well behaved (oh happy days)
but our school uniform was intended to be "best"...this was before the days of 99p asda school shirts!! It was expected to last years and yes be passed from older to younger sister. We wore it with white ankle socks and buckle sandals.
Lovely photos everyone (pssst, has the RHS replied yet or are they still pondering, along with T-Pip's blood ponderers?) and jno I've been meaning to ask you about Photoshop, you have Elementals or the whole shebang? Does it come with an extensive manual or do you figure things out for yourself?

I scared my doctor sh1tless the other day; she was going to examine me but I was still sitting down and before I could get up and strip she threw herself (her hands) on my legs feeling around for sore spots, when suddenly she froze in complete horror. Ha ha ha ha ha, it was the huuge, decorative buttons on my leg warmers she had encountered! (Speaking of buttons and legs, if you wonder why I'm telling you this story!)

Nice to see you Woofy, was wondering. Get well soon xx

PS lol at jno's piccy being named "normal paper dress"!
(I was still wearing my trousers so she was feeling the buttons through the fabric.)
