oh well, if you were trying to feed a whole manual through it, no wonder. Mine won't even handle a phone book.

Oh lottie, I think that photo is lovely, just the sort of thing that I like, but unfortunately I do not have green fingers or water (well, we have today). I love little cottagey corners like that!
I have put the shredded paper in the compost bin and completed the job by adding wee!! I now have a special garden loo - a plastic bucket. Well - no one can see me (hopefully!!). Shan't be using it in inclement weather though!!!!

We used to burn all our paper on the woodburner in the lounge, but now that the jackdaw family have taken up residence in the chimney we can't light it.

Robi, I am beginning to feel like you about holidays and trips. I never know how I am going to feel from day to day and quite honestly I think all the getting reading to go stresses me out and makes me ill. I always used to be ill at Christmas until I decided to virtually ignore it.

Is it tomorrow for the dentist Nets. If so, good luck. I am going out very early tomorrow so won't be around on here.
Evenin each. Hope you've had a good day. Thank goodness nothing to be done at the dentist. All my bottom teeeth are ok and what can you do to crowns apart from hope they don't drop out. He did say that they were a bit loose but not excessively so. he's Asian and i said I was sorry but I couldn't remember his name so he said just to call him Vish.First name terms with my dentist now Yay!! Only the Dr. to go. I know his name's Adrian but I have my doubts he'll ever say 'call me Ade' :~)

Murray's through to the semis in the French is anybody is interested.

That's a lovely photo Lottie. Put's my amateurish efforts to shame. They'll probably look bett6er when they come into full blooom.

I actually went walking this morning for the first time for ages andf felt a lot better.

I hope your sleep pattern settles soon for you Jno. It would drive me potty. For a start if I slept for 10 hours I wouldn't be able to move when I woke up as I'd be as stiff as a board.

The weather has promised to be good for Saturday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the wedding.

Cuppa tea time methinks See yer later 'gater(s)
yep, weather's looking good... on Saturday we visit our German neighbours to christen their new patio, Sunday I give myself my annual treat of a day at Lord's, so if there's so much as a drop of rain harsh words will be spoken in English and German.

My dentist's called Saf. He got an award a couple of years ago for being a Health Superstar (goodness only knows where from) so I tease him about it. He's very sweet. But the really complicated stuff is done by his partner, a gentlemanly Iranian who always says how sorry he is he can't save the tooth. (If he did save them all he'd have an ivory mountain by now.)

My dentist is called Veronica, she's South American, and her husband is the receptionist/nurse /interpreter.
I've been the good fairy Godmother today and have entertained my great nephew by traipsing around the The Time and Tide Museum with him and enduring McDonalds :) How vile is that crud they serve in there but he woofed it down .I've got indigestion now and need a fairy Godfather to rub my aching feet and legs :)
Welcome back Lofty .Hope you had a good time in spite of a feeling poorly .
Hope everyone is OK .Toodlepip for now .
And my dentist is called Dr Ridge................................... (and he is very efficient).

Tomorrow I am being a dutiful Mother and supervising window fitters, etc. at son's house whilst son and his missus are at work. No doubt I will end up doing some gardening there otherwise it's going to be a very boring day. Perhaps I can play on their Wii!!

Friday is another long slog with the solicitor :o(

Hope you soon recover from the McDonalds Shaney. Awful stuff ain't it!

Nite nite.
My dentist is called Andrew and he's lovely.
It's been a difficult day here. Dh's anaemia is making him depressed and anxious. Oh well tomorrow he gets hs transfusion. Night all.......
hope it goes well, woofgang.

Did I mention I got a couple of tickets for a day at the Olympics? Well, half a day and something to do with athletics.
sounds like you really know a lot about it jno :-)

Morning all

Yes McDonalds is vile, can't abide it.

Of to dentist in a hour, block yer ears if the screaming upsets you!

I admire you shaney, trudging round with a kiddy, I haven't the energy!
but neti, you still are!

Sigh... 4 hours' sleep last night, better than none at all, I suppose. Such a nice day and I may find myself snoozing through it.
Morning all
I don't have the energy either really Neti and I'm pooped today but he's a nice lad ,well behaved .
My niece works full time now and it's half term ..He usually goes to my bro but they had appointments yesterday so I volunteered .I like the museum anyway and they have an artefact from my Dad so it was nice for him to see that and I told him all about it .
Hope you get on Ok at the dentist .

I'm a runner up this week in in the Spectator crossword and won the grand sum of twenty quid !
I hope all goes well today for Mr Woofy .
Cloudy here at the mo' but warm . Take care all ,have a good day .
morning all. i had an upset tum last night and spent it galloping to and from the bathroom...must have been stress coupled with too much asparagus as i am fine now.
Morning all on this lovely day here. All the best for Mr W for his transfusion and Neti for the dentist and I hope the rest of you aren't getting to much aggro from aches and pains. I'm still coughing but not as much and it subsides when I've 'nasal sprayed'.
I must get cracking now as I have to get my washing out and do the routine thnings.
Shaney here's a clue for you I just can't work out. It's cryptic 9 letters.
-e-c-a-ts The clue 'Particular inclinations to write church music' Any ideas please.

See yer later 'gater(s)
Morning all...and a lovely one it is too. Temperature's climbing...I'm expecting to see way too much scary white flesh out and about these next few days... :o(

YAY! I successfully managed to get no tickets for the Olympics, probably because I didn't apply for any, but knowing my luck I thought I'd end up with a whole load of them, haha.

lol @ Lottie's dentist being Mr Ridge, should be Mr Bridge. :o) My dentist's called Spyridon, try saying that with a numb mouth. I once had a dentist called Yogi(!) and he was wonderful, did a lot of cosmetic work for me but then he moved on - had enough of me I expect :o) - He has his own practise now, a bit too far away. My doc is Anthony but I never ever think of him as having a first name, I need to maintain a healthy formal distance in case (heaven forbid) I have something really embarrassing. 'Hi Anton, check this out' just isn't going to happen, lol.
Jude I think I know who your gp is, is his surname seasonal? Lucky you, he's lovely I met him once at my neighbour's house...when he came to see her he used to ask her how I was, haha.

Well done on your expedition shaney...the only McD's food I can bear to nibble on is their fries.

Good luck for mr w's transfusion, he'll be all nice & pink by tonight :o)... stay calm woofy!
Penchants Jude .
Pen ( write )
Chants ( church music )

My dentist in england was Irish and called Burke, he was lovely, had a penchant for liquid lunches!

Gums infected, now on antibiotics til Monday and if not better then tooth is coming out so that it can heal properly, I'll be like those on the Jeremy Kyle show again!

Tremendous storm in the night, and now very black and overcast, temps have dropped right down.

I didn't sleep too well last night, combination of aching gums, worrying about hija (yes even at her age!) mousey pratting about, Mr N bouncing everywhere, he bounces when he turns over, headache, so took an paracetamol at 3.33 am and then slept.

Heard footsteps outside at 2.27am so got up as I thought it was hija returning but no one there, I had a quick look around the outside and then back to bed. Mr N says I must not be so brave or foolish and to stay in, but I thought it was hija in her cups and hiding,

Maybe a good sleep tonight for all of us.

Good luck dear Mr Woofy, fingers crossed for you. x

Anybody been watching "The Scheme" at first I didn't bother and then I got into it, I couldn't believe how some people live. They are on the social and still have better homes than I have, bigger tv's nicer kitchens, where did I go wrong I wonder?? I just could not live in a place like that!

And as for Olympic tickets, bah, ridiculous state of affairs!!
