Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Shughy is better. I think it was a combination of weather and stomach upset...maybe caused by the weather. His stomach sounded like a cement mixer all last night and he’s quite tired today. I am relieved because as a pup he used to get really nasty stomach infections.

We've just been out to lunch on the beach but it was very windy even though we say indoors. Had a lovely mix of tapas, and to finish I had a Happy Park ice cream mix. It was delicious. It was raspberry ice with syrup running through it (not a water ice) a dollop of cream, three little marshmallows and m&ms sprinkled everywhere. It's for kids but I loved it!

I would say I love kid's party food but these days it's burgers or lots of spicy stuff it seems.
Looks like the maid's forgotten to wash the pots again...tut.

Thanks all for your kind words about my son. Off to York tomorrow for a week then down south to see my brother playing in Bracknell next Saturday night.

Good morning all, its a nice day here too. We are having a relaxed day to let Shughy get over his whatever it was. He is sunbathing and cadged half a biscuit from my morning coffee so i think he’s ok :) Rab doesn’t cadge....biscuit is his by right and he sits bolt upright in front of me until he get it!

Dogs are funny .Shaney was a bolt upright biscuit blagger.
Whenever I went to open the cupboard out the back where the Bonios and treats were kept he used to appear like magic even if he was up on the stairs or way up the garden.
The gas man has been here for about an hour now.He'll be wanting a biscuit with his tea at this rate.

Hija has a guardia civil friend who keeps insisting he wants to come for tea and biscuits with Lyn, she just met for and he a started marching up to the house, she was horrified and dragged him back, so we are inviting him to an English tea maybe next Monday, I hope he wears the full uniform!

Mac could smell food from the end of the garden too...he wouldn't let my mum go past him until he'd had the a couple of the digestives she always brought him. Charlie could be in a really deep sleep but if I sneaked a biscuit his nose would start to twitch. His eyes would half open and he'd lift his head up, sniff the air and then he'd realise. I could stop chewing and turn away but there was no fooling him.

Hija was doing dinner so she popped out shopping and a couple of cocktails (as you do).. so Mr N and I were sitting there wondering if I should make sandwiches and she comes in with Chinese takeaway and sushi, it was delicious, I ate and ate and there still a lot left. Mr N insisted on paying her back.

Not sure about cake mixes but anyway the oven is not on or off no choice of heat settings! Mr N says I have to get a teapot and do it properly and see a dress !!
