I have also just realised, from reading in B&S that you can have your eyelashes permed .....I wonder what size rollers they use ....do you think they need backcombing afterwards ?
There is hope for us yet ....Oh yes ....I can see it all now ...tattooed eyebrows and permed lashes ......how on earth would I wink at Vinny .

oh yes, I read that Bette Davis had to draw her eyebrows on every day - she shaved them off to play Elizabeth I, I think, and was horrified to find they couldn't be bothered growing back. So cherish your hair while you have it. Actually I suppose instead of leg-shaving you could go in for leg-perming. If you had time to spare.

Last Sunday, we were having lunch, and a young couple was seated at the next (very close) table, with the wife facing Mr N, and lo and behold out came the bazooms as she was breastfeeding, now I'm all for it, but do feel one could drape a shawl (or plastic bag!) over the feeding child - poor Mr N He normally doesn't mind, but it put him right off his paella, as she was practically in his lap. As I've said I'm all for breastfeeding, but object to the people who brazenly do it "as a right". Consideration in all things.

Ooooh.... I sympathise Robinia I have a big thick polo neck on ! I have a horrible arthritic lump on the top bone and it it drives me insane ! I have more microwaveable wheatbags than Jno has slippers .
I know the feeling ....I have to turn my whole body round to get across the road !!
