James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

We have had yet another blood test and have been waiting for yet another phone call telling OH to go straight to A&E, but nothing yet, so maybe no fresh disasters this week, but mustn't count our chickens or uncross our fingers. OH is getting bored with a bland diet so I got us some cheeseburgers that went down quite without having bitty or fibrous bits that might get tangled up in the system.
Ah, more bumps needed, I see.
And more.
Oh, it seems that for the first time blood test results were as expected. That’s a nice change.

Jno what excellent news!
Morning oh that's good news jno although I would vomit if I ate a cheeseburger or any burger for that matter.
Lovely and sunny although still cold.
Everyone else ok? I hope so.
Hello all
That's good news Jno .Hope things stay settled.Cheeseburgers are the way to go.
Bit milder again .Clocks forward tomorrow so the lighter evenings will help to dispel the winter gloom.
My brother came round this morning. He was a bit sheepish .I gave him his card and present for his birthday tomorrow and hopefully it's all forgotten. He's a lovely brother and I do love him and these outbursts and nastiness are unlike him.
Hope you're all ok .
I've been playing about with that Firestick and watched a lovely miniseries called Hotel Adlon. I then found out you can ask it stuff.
I've laughed myself silly while Mr S just sat there shaking his head :)
Been a bit wet here but I see it is still only going to be 8 degrees when we get home - and that’s London, goodness knows what it’s going to be like in faraway East Angular and other icy parts.
Howdy folks. Wet and grey here and surprisingly cold.
Nothing much happening. After the boat race Mr N is going to fetch a Chinese meal.
I don't think you can talk to our firestick in fact cant do much at all as wifi signal is very bad. I just stick to the bbc 1234 and itv 123 and channel 4 and 5. Mr N tries to watch footy on it.
Jno when are you flying home? I expect jno jnr has enjoyed having the house to himself! A few raves ......
I hate putting the clocks forward, I want more dark evenings!!!!
Middle of next week, Neti.

More darkness coming up (If the link works)

Good morning all. Sort of a grey nothing day. Most excitement was changing the clocks. I really really dont want it to be light until 8pm here!
We had a very strange lunch... Neither of us was hungry but we went to a nice local place and after perusing the menu I had 2 egg, 3 bacon and chips and a coffee. Mr N had a cheese omelette!, chips and tomato. It was delicious! Its this stupid hour change. Back home now watching " Brief Encounter" awwww!
Went to visit some friends and were shown the brochure for the 10-metre launch they’ve ordered from Germany. They’re currently choosing curtains and stuff. Green with envy I am, I’d love to be cruising islands in the stream in that, even though there’s no ocean within 50 miles of me. (They live only a mile from the coast.)

I dunno Jno....unless you have a crew boats are blooming hard work....Its like running a country pub....the vision is of mine host propping up the bar and no one imagines cleaning the beer lines and unblocking the toilets.
Ssssh! I’m dreaming.
Good day. Yachts? No thank you cant think of anything worse, on a par with gardening!
Gorgeous day here, so Ive been washing and ironing and pottering. Am being very good food wise as blood tests on Wednesday.
Shaney The last series of The Americans starts on 28th March so Ill do it for you ok?
Watch I, Tonya last night, goid film.
Hello all
Here is your East Angular correspondent and it's been an absolutely lovely day with wall to wall sunshine.Unfortunately it seems to go down the pan from tomorrow.
You can come on a cruise here Jno ,on the Broads, which are lovely if the weather's nice.
Not much doing .Went to see Mr Fixit today and have been given some exercises which I can do and have also got to do short walks daily and build them up to longer walks unless too painful.Back in a fortnight.
That's come round quickly Neti .Yes I would love to see it .Thank you.
I watched another good series on the Firestick ,Maltese:The Mafia Detective .It was brilliant .Fact mixed with fiction as to what went on in Sicily in the 70's when they were bumping off judges and politicians etc..Great cars, clothes and scenery.
Hope you're all ok and that your OH is getting better Jno.

hello all....odd day today as I spent most of it asleep....feel much better for it though so must have needed it. The tortoises are up and nice and warm in my spare room. They are sleepy but look fine so its all good. Now I have to start spending a kings ransom on veggies for them until its warm enough for them to be outside.
