Very sensible. Brexit seriously threatens the existence of the U.K. and threatens to destabilise Ireland. She has no choice. The votes in Scotland and NI cannot be ignored. What exactly one does, I don't know, but I don't think anyone else does yet either

// Zacs....but Scotland cannotexist out of Britain as an independent nation //
well Nicola says it can because she wants so badly to be a prime minister and sit at the top table in Europe
and Sotland can be independent so long as Niccy ensures she has a hand in the english tax payers pocket - or should that be - prime minister's hand bag ?

Given Theresa May's line about how "the Scottish people sent a very clear message" in the Scottish Independence referendum, it would be massively hypocritical of her to never start the Brexit process. I suppose it's reasonable, with a new department being created for the purpose, to wait for that department to be set up properly at least. I guess that will be a few months in the creation, probably including some level of planning, so that 2016 will have passed before we actually do anything about the vote.

'may be even relating with the old commonwealth'
unfortunately we dont know - actually we do know- the old commonwealth showed no interest in an ABC relationship at all ( Oz-Britain-Canada )
o God I love these comedy clips .... the only issue is that we may well have to relive them as tragedy ( K Marx, twisted a bit )

Maybe naive but my thoughts are that the whole of the UK will leave the EU. Scotland can then have another referendum to leave the UK and if the vote goes for leave then then can leave and apply to join the EU in their own right. Don't think that is quick enough for Mrs Scotland. She'll be long gone by then. It will take years.
650 MPs were democratically elected and 3/4 of them do not want to Brexit. So there will be lots of heel dragging, inertia and lack of urgency to impliment something they don't want.
The team of Brexit Ministers are nicely corraled in an ivory tower. When they emerge the rest of the Government and then parliament have to agree with them. And they won't.

Perhaps they shouldn't have emblazoned the bus with the "suggestion" then? Never mind that the £350 million figure isn't even correct. What's so sad is that it didn't even need to be the figure they stuck with -- anything that sounds like "so-many-hundreds of millions" would be equally large in listeners' heads, so they could have stuck with the ~£170 million figure with no effects to the central message -- other than being truthful this time.
However much Brexit supporters bang on about the perceived dishonesty of "Project Fear" (and some of those, eg the emergency budget proposal of Osborne's, have turned out to be exactly that), it would be nice if they could hold the lead campaign of their own position to account in the same way. Whether "let's give £350 million more to the NHS" is technically a promise or not, it was incredibly misleading, and should be denounced as such.
