Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

Hurray,I've got bread....and chs! What more could I possibly need? (eating marmite on tst at the moment, my latest craze).

A Guardian critic (who needs 'em) has been very unfair in his statement about the Chase. I wouldn't say Mark Labbett 'single-handedly elevates the whole thing to a level it wouldn't otherwise deserve'. I think it's the whole balance of the lovely Bradley and all four chasers that make it so good. I loved it the other night when somebody said 'Clive Dunn' as the answer (to some war question was it?) and Brad was struggling to keep it together.

It's clouded over now , such a shame, the sunshine was very welcome.

I've found it on YT...and, brace yourself girls, it's the Beast too!

haha Robi I did see that but was cooking at the time so do not absorb too much! Is he married??

Gosh it's chilly here although lovely and sunny outside but how long can one sit outside. Am coughing up blood but it's normal according to my medico, cos I am over coughing.

Hija's last day at work today, she'll be glad. She flies to BarÇa on Sat and there here on 31st!!
I too agree Robi, that the Guardian bloke has it wrong. The Chase hits on the right notes. The TV audience can all join in and it is a fast show. No gimics or waiting for the sound of drum rolls. Bradley is superb in holiding it all together. Yes the Clive Dunne thing was so funny. Am just going to watch that viedeo
switched on my electric flame effect yesterday and it went "bang" and fused lights, clocks but not all, so I, very bravely, put the trip switch up , changed the bulbs, and re set the clocks and hey ho, all OK!
You are not marrying him Neti. No, no, no!!!!

Keep drinking plenty of soothing drinks Neti and keep an eye on things.
Lottie he's 48yr old that's even too big a gap for me, but a dalliance???? Seeing as I am stuck with El Gringo here, awful, hate his moustache.
Ha, ha - Led the Relief of Mafeking!!!! Wonderful to imagine!!!!!
'Don't panic, don't panic'
I think he looks younger than 48 actually Neti.
Do not open any emails from me, they are not, I'm not sure what is hppening but in my inbox I keep getting Mailer-Daemon can't deliver this and that and I have never sent them. Have changed my password and created a log in seal, so hopefully nothing too bad is occuring!

I expect it's the heavy workload with your new editorial position that's messing up your emails neti. Can you buy Buttercup syrup on your planet? It's very soothing, the only cough medicine I bother with.
No no buttercup unfortunately, I always forget to bring some with me.

Just seen "midwife" really enjoyed it, but want to know how the sister nun got off the boat?? Loved hearing Pat Boone at the end, ah such memories of such hopes!
Question Author
ha, I wondered that too neti...in fact I was amazed they even managed to get on it at all.

no, Neti hasn't gone over to the other side, it's a Q in cb...asking for trouble posting it in there
That's brilliant Robi, I want high leg pants which go up to (and under) the bust.
neti, don't do it, you will give yourself more headaches.
We have been out!!!! I bought the dogs ginger biscuits at costas and had a rake in the local craft shop sale. They are now happily asleep. We drove past where I walk them and the puddles are all frozen with still loads of snow. It will be like walking on glass so we will be confined for a day or two yet. Its also sleeting here, so if it freezes again tonight mucho no fun tomorrow.
Am all tucked up in bed, Mr N came home with yet another Panetone (slightly reduced although he swears that wasn't why he bought it!) so I had a huge toasted slice and a cuppa for my dinner followed by strawbs and cream, he finished off the cous cous. The strawbs are lovely and cheap at this time of year. Am awaiting Eastenders but have to admit to being slightly bored with it now. I think Alfie is a turncoat, even though Kat has been unfaithful, I 'm sure he loves still, and it is my dearest wish to see them reunited.

On this one Bradley can't stop laughing and even the Governess has the giggles! Made me laugh!
we settled down to watch telly and we all fell asleep together.....woke up at 8pm and we have had chicken and chips for tea.
Neti, that link has just had both Mr LL and I floods of tears. Bradley Walsh is so lovely. I love that programme.
